Blake Lively’s ‘It Ends With Us’ contract reveals salary, Oscar bonus

A proposed contract for Blake Lively’s performance in “It Ends With Us” was unsealed on Thursday as part of her ongoing legal battle against Justin Baldoni.

A draft of the contract filed in the Southern District of New York and obtained by Us Weekly revealed she was to be paid a salary of over $1.7 million for her role in the film adaptation of the Colleen Hoover novel.

The “Gossip Girl” alum would also be paid 10% of the 2024 film’s gross proceeds, and receive several bonuses based on the movie’s box office performance — $250,000 for each big milestone — as well as whether it won any major awards.

According to the unsigned draft, the 38-year-old actress would have been paid $100,000 for an Academy Award nomination and $200,000 for a win — if she won, she would win $200,000 total. Furthermore, she would have been paid $75,000 for a Golden Globe nomination and $100,000 for a win, and $50,000 for a SAG Award nomination and $75,000 for a win.

Lively, however, was not nominated for any awards.

Lively was also offered $1,500 in assistant fees, a personal driver, use of a pop-out trailer with customary amenities and a $1,000-per-week stipend for training and meals during filming in New Jersey.

For any filming days in Las Vegas, Lively, who shares daughters James, 10, Inez, 9, and Betty, 6, and son Olin, 2, with husband Ryan Reynolds, was offered the option to have her family, two nannies, assistant and security team flown by private jet.

The contract also had provisions that required all parties to take any issues to arbitration and not file them in public court.

Lively did not end up signing the proposed contract.

Her and Baldoni’s reps did not immediately respond to Page Six’s requests for comment.

Following the release of the movie, Lively sued her co-star and director, Baldoni, for sexual harassment, claiming he made her and other women feel uncomfortable on set. She has also accused Baldoni of launching a smear campaign as retaliation for her speaking out.

The “Jane The Virgin” actor, 41, has vehemently denied Lively’s claims and even tried to sue his former co-star for defamation, though the judge threw out his lawsuit earlier this year.

Baldoni and Lively are set to face off in court in March 2026.
