Ahead of their engagement, the couple announced on Tuesday, Nov. 4 that they are living together. “Cheers to this new chapter roomies!!!” Frick wrote on her Instagram Stories.
On Oct. 9, the couple celebrated their second anniversay and Yesavage penned a sweet Instagram message to his girlfriend saying she is “the woman that completes” him.
“You are my best friend. You know how to always put a smile on my face. You fill my life with love and I’m so thankful for you,” he continued. “You do so much behind the scenes for us that goes unnoticed but I see it. I love you more and more with every day that passes❤️.”
In the weeks leading up to their engagement, Yesavage and the Blue Jays were competing in the World Series, and ultimately lost in Game 7 against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
After the Dodgers won, Frick wrote a message to Yesavage celebrating his accomplishments. “Words could never fully describe the emotions I’ve experienced watching you over the past year,” her Nov. 2 Instagram post began. “Although the word ‘proud’ could easily be used to describe these moments, it’s so much more than that,” she wrote.
Frick said she is “completely in awe of the person [Yesavage has] become.” “Every day I wake up proud to call you mine and proud to see the impact you have had on millions of others,” she wrote. “You won my love, you won from the beginning 🤍.”
The baseball player expressed his gratitude in the comments, and said, “Words can’t describe how much I love you.”
He wrote that she has “been right by [his] side every second of this journey.”
“You continue to impress me every single day with the human being you are,” he continued. “None of my success would happen without you there by my side. I love you beyond the moon and stars honey❤️❤️❤️.”
