Brianna Chickenfry undergoes emergency surgery after ‘excruciating pain’ and projectile vomiting

Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia revealed she had to undergo emergency surgery after a “giant cyst” twisted her organs.

The influencer, 26, spoke about her scary ordeal in a TikTok video Monday, saying she underwent surgery on Sunday after experiencing excruciating pain and going to the emergency room.

LaPaglia said she and the man she’s dating — whom she did not reveal — hung out Saturday and ate Taco Bell, and her stomach started hurting shortly after. She attempted to sleep it off but woke up in the middle of the night in “excruciating pain.”

“I start projectile vomiting, I’m laying on the bathroom floor, literally convulsing,” she recalled.

After the pain progressed to a “20 out of 10,” she had the man she was with take her to the emergency room, where a male doctor initially dismissed her pain as just being caused by consuming the fast food.

However, after undergoing a vaginal ultrasound, they discovered she had a large cyst on her ovaries that had to be removed immediately.

According to the Cleveland Clinic, ovarian torsion occurs when large cysts cause an ovary to twist. The twisting can cut off the blood supply to the affected ovary — causing sudden, severe abdominal pain — which requires emergency care.

LaPaglia was rushed into an ambulance to undergo emergency surgery at another hospital.

“There was half a liter of blood on my pelvic floor, that’s where, essentially, all the pain was coming from,” she explained.

The podcaster said doctors drained all the blood and fully removed the cyst. She praised the all-female team who performed her surgery, calling them “badasses.”

LaPaglia also shared that the man she was “kind of dating” was incredible toward her throughout the whole ordeal — even letting her stay with him after she was “homeless,” since she was supposed to move into her new apartment the day she underwent surgery.

“This poor guy, who is amazing, completely taking care of me, like, I don’t know what I would have done without him and now I’m just, like, staying in his house, I feel so bad,” she told her followers, while sitting on his couch.

“He sat with me in the ER, he sat with me through my surgery, waited for me, brought me home, like took care of me last night,” she added.

LaPaglia underwent a nasty public breakup from Zach Bryan in October 2024, after dating for over a year.

The country singer, 30, got married in December 2025 following a whirlwind romance with Samantha Leonard, whom some have noted looks extremely similar to LaPaglia.
