Britney Spears 911 dispatch reveals star swerved ‘in and out’ of lanes before DUI arrest
Dispatch audio reveals Britney Spears was seen swerving and speeding before her driving under the influence arrest on March 4.
“Black BMW sedan in and out of lanes… speeding,” the dispatch audio exclusively obtained by Page Six reveals. “2026 convertible out of LA.”
“Can we send all units down towards this area please,” an officer said in the call, as units could be heard responding to the vehicle and detailing the exact location of the car.
“This is a 2026 black BMW convertible,” the officer reiterated to the units, as the officers could be heard following the vehicle and then pulling it over.
“Talking with the driver,” another officer could be heard saying. “Driver is out of the vehicle.”
Page Six also obtained exclusive photos of the car the singer was driving in the tow yard Thursday morning.
As Page Six previously reported, Spears was driving the same vehicle when she was seen dangerously swerving after leaving the Red-O restaurant in Thousand Oaks, Calif., in October 2025.
Spears was arrested on March 4 by the California Highway Patrol in Ventura County, Calif., at around 9:28 p.m. local time.
She was booked at 3:02 a.m. and released at 6:07 a.m. Thursday, Page Six confirmed. TMZ was first to report the news.
She is to appear in court on May 4.
Spears’ rep Cade Hudson, told us in a statement, “This was an unfortunate incident that is completely inexcusable. Britney is going to take the right steps and comply with the law and hopefully this can be the first step in long overdue change that needs to occur in Britney’s life. Hopefully, she can get the help and support she needs during this difficult time.”
He added referencing her sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James, “Her boys are going to be spending time with her. Her loved ones are going to come up with an overdue needed plan to set her up for success for well being.”
TMZ reported Spears was taken to the hospital after her arrest.
Spears had her blood drawn Thursday morning so officials could determine her blood alcohol content.
The outlet reported the singer has been “telling people [her BAC] was .06.”
Even though the legal limit in California is .08 percent, individuals can be charged with driving under the influence if seen operating a vehicle erratically.
Spears was not injured while being taken into custody in Ventura County, Calif., on Wednesday.
The California Post reported cops have been called to her home 14 times since Jan. 1, 2024.
The latest call made around midnight on oct. 23, 2025 is for trespassing.
Other calls include a September 2025 call for a well-being check, which was canceled a March 21 one for a silent alarm.
