From bandages and bruises to final results
Margaret Josephs is documenting every stage of her nose job journey on Instagram.
The “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star shared a series of plastic surgery progress pics Wednesday, from bandages and bruises to final results.
“No one wants a droopy tip,” she captioned the carousel, which kicked off with “before” photos. “Some might call it a rhinoplasty, I call it a ‘nasal rejuvenation.’”
She explained, “As I got older, my tip started to droop as I smiled and I was really unhappy about it. When I was younger I never disliked my nose and could never imagine doing a nose job, but with age the cartilage in my nose didn’t support my tip and it emphasized a slight bump in my nose also.
“Every photo of me I really noticed it and it bothered me,” the Bravolebrity, 58, continued. “I went to @drgarymotykie for a slight tweak and now my nose fits my face so perfectly.”
Josephs’ slideshow included a close-up selfie taken 24 hours after going under the knife, with the reality star quipping she had “some balls to walk around Beverly Hills” looking like she did.
The fashion designer joked that she was “scaring children at the pool” during her recovery.
One week post-op, Josephs ditched her bandages and showed off multiple angles of her results — and finished the upload with a high school reunion snap taken eight weeks after surgery.
“I am a huge advocate for doing what makes YOU happy and feel your best,” the businesswoman gushed. “Thank you Dr. Motykie for this subtle upgrade, it made such a huge difference to me.”
Josephs has pulled back the curtain on other procedures over the years, including a facelift and a breast lift.
In a June 2020 New Beauty interview, she dubbed the former the “best thing [she’s] ever done.”
Additionally, Josephs opened up to the outlet about “regularly maintain[ing]” her Botox and “sporadically” getting laser treatments.
“Every time women strive to do something for themselves for health and wellness, it is subject to scrutiny and seen as controversial,” she said.
The following month, Josephs defended discussing her plastic surgery publicly on her “Caviar Dreams, Tuna Fish Budget” podcast.
“I’m not about being fake and plastic — that’s not what it’s about,” she clarified in the July 2020 episode. “If you want to do something to yourself to make you feel better, you shouldn’t feel guilty about it.”
