Brooke Shields celebrates daughter Grier’s 19th birthday with rare throwback photos: ‘My baby isn’t a baby anymore’

Brooke Shields is one proud mama.

The model and actress wished daughter Grier Henchy, whom she shares with husband Chris Henchy, a happy 19th birthday via Instagram Friday.

“My baby isn’t a baby anymore 🥹🩷 Happy 19th birthday, Grier! I love you, and I’m so proud to be your mom. Xx,” she gushed in the caption.

Shields also shared a carousel of photos highlighting various points in Grier’s life from childhood to adulthood.

The mother-daughter duo have shown off their close bond over the years as Shields has publicly celebrated some of Grier’s milestones.

The “Mother of the Bride” star, 59, showed her support for Grier as she made her runway debut for Tommy Hilfiger at New York Fashion Week last September.

Shields celebrated her daughter’s big moment by sharing a video of her catwalk with her Instagram followers the next day.

“So proud of you,” she captioned the clip, tagging her daughter and the famous clothing brand.

Just one month prior, the model and actress emotionally revealed she was an “empty-nester” after her youngest daughter left for college.

In a video, the “Blue Lagoon” star tearfully recalled watching both of her daughters leave for school.

“OK, so, I sat here a year ago, and I watched my big girl leave, and I’m back on this porch, and I am now officially an empty nester?” she said.

“But it’s really not, it’s not, uh, it’s not easy. It’s not easy for the moms. I mean, it’s just so weird,” she continued while taking off her glasses and wiping tears from her eyes.

The actress captioned the clip, “Both of my baby birds have left the nest.”

Shields is also mom to daughter Rowan Henchy, 21.
