Callum Turner breaks silence on ‘amazing’ Dua Lipa nuptials
He’s levitating.
Callum Turner gushed over his “amazing” Italian wedding to Dua Lipa for the first time since tying the knot earlier this summer.
The “One Night Only” star told Esquire in an interview published Tuesday that his wedding to the “Levitating” singer was “the most beautiful day of [his] life.”
He noted that the public’s reaction to their nuptials has been “pretty surreal.”
“We went to the park yesterday, and everyone who walked past [us] said, ‘Congratulations,’” the “Eternity” actor, 36, explained. “It’s a weird thing in general when you have such a personal thing happen and then it’s also spoken about publicly.”
Turner also said starting a family was among his priorities for the next decade. “Obviously, yeah. I’m 36. I’d like to have a family and raise some kids,” he told the outlet.
Turner and the “New Rules” vocalist, 30, tied the knot in May in an intimate ceremony at Old Marylebone Town Hall in London, England.
At the time, an insider told The US Sun that Turner “was in tears and shaky” as his now-wife walked down the aisle.
Another source told the outlet that the couple’s “low-key” ceremony, attended by “their closest family and friends,” was followed by a “chic and simple” intimate celebration.
In the days following their initial nuptials, Turner and Lipa said “I do” again in a larger ceremony in Palermo, Italy.
The celebration drew a star-studded guest list, including Charli XCX, Mark Ronson and Sir Elton John, who serenaded the newlyweds with his iconic hit “Your Song.”
The pair later jetted off to Taormina in Sicily for their honeymoon at the San Domenico Palace, where they were photographed getting handsy.
In January 2024, a source confirmed to Page Six that Turner and Lipa were dating, adding that the couple were “mad about each other.”
The insider also noted that the “Don’t Start Now” hitmaker supported her then-boyfriend at the premiere of his Apple TV+ limited series “Masters of the Air.”
Lipa confirmed her engagement to Turner in an April 2025 British Vogue interview, saying she was “very excited” about their impending nuptials.
“This decision to grow old together, to see a life and just, I don’t know, be best friends forever… it’s a really special feeling,” she told the outlet.
