Céline Dion is giving fans a peek inside her life.
The superstar, 57, has officially entered her influencer era and posted a hilarious “What’s in My Bag” video showing off all the contents of her beloved Dior Toujours Tote bag, a variation of which is up for resale on Lyst for nearly $7,000. Its contents will likely shock you, make you laugh and love the singer even more.
In a clip shared to TikTok and Instagram, the “My Heart Will Go On” singer pulled out some of the tamer and more relatable objects in her bag: A fan to beat the Las Vegas heat, dog food, Mentos, Touchland hand sanitizer and her favorite Byredo Blanche hand cream.
As the video went on, Dion’s everyday essentials became more unhinged — and were likely included in jest. At one point, she whipped out a microphone for when she finds herself having to do an impromptu performance of “Happy Birthday.” Shen then showed something that takes a lot of “courage” to carry around — her own VIP concert badge.
“It’s because when I purchase stuff, [people ask] is it really you?” she said, then began screaming. “It happens to me a lot. They don’t believe it’s me, so what I do is take my own phone,” at which point she pulled out an old landline phone, “and I’m calling 9-freaking-1-1, and I’m asking for help.”
Fans flooded the comment section with praise for Dion — and marveled out how much stuff she fit in her bag. “This woman is an icon, a legend, a national treasure, one wrote, and another sharing, “That bag is giving big Mary Poppins energy !!”
Dion has been in good spirits lately and encouraged her followers to be in the present moment during the holidays, as they are a beautiful reminder to “slow down, take a deep breath, and give thanks.”
“There’s something so powerful about gathering with the people you love, whether around a full table over the phone or even just in your heart,” wrote Dion, who was diagnosed with stiff-person syndrome in 2022. “I’m so thankful to my family and our moments together that mean the world to me.”
