Charisma Carpenter says she has a ‘crush’ on Dermot Mulroney

Charisma Carpenter has a huge crush on Dermot Mulroney.

The “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” alum, 55, took to TikTok Sunday while attending GalaxyCon Nightmare Weekend in Cleveland, Ohio, to say that the actor, 61, needed to manifest “being [her] husband.”

“Guys, I’m in the green room at Nightmare Weekend Cleveland,” she shared with fans, adding that the event is a “horror convention.”

“So I don’t really know why Dermot Mulroney is here, but it doesn’t matter because it makes me so happy that he is. I am literally probably his biggest fan.”

“Probably since, I don’t know, way before I was ever married,” she added of Mulroney, 61 — who filed for divorce from his wife of 14 years in June.

“So I’m talking like ‘My Best Friend’s Wedding,’” the actress said of the 1997 hit comedy film. “I just love him in that movie. He’s just a good guy.”

The mom of one also cited Mulroney’s turn in the Showtime series “Shameless” as she gushed over the actor, who she said is “so talented” and “so crushable at the same time.”

Carpenter revealed that her handler encouraged her to approach the “Scream 6” actor and tell him she’s a fan.

After finally being convinced, she divulged that she “got so comfortable” that she “ended up crashing his photo op” and got a picture with Mulroney — which she promised she’d share with fans “later.”

The actress said she told Mulroney she’d previously auditioned for a role opposite him in “Chicago Fire,” which she did not land. “He was just so sweet and kind,” she recalled, adding that he later said they’d have to “manifest” working together.

“I was like, no no, Dermot you need to manifest being my husband,” she quipped.

Carpenter giggled before confessing she didn’t actually “say that. But that’s what I was thinking,” she added.

Fans took to the comments thread to react to Carpenter’s awkward confession. “I can feel the fangirl energy through the screen,” one follower wrote, while another added, “he’s single now, so go for it.”

“Does not compute. Charisma Carpenter is someone people crush on, not someone who crushes on others,” quipped a third, alongside a row of laughing emojis.

Carpenter famously played Cordelia Chase in “Buffy” from 1997 to 1999, and its spinoff “Angel” from 1999 to 2004.

She married Damian Hardy in 2002, and the pair welcomed son Donovan in 2003. However, they divorced in 2008.

Mulroney, meanwhile, married Prima Apollinaare in 2008 and filed for divorce from her on June 23, citing “irreconcilable differences.” The estranged couple share kids Mabel, 17, and Sally, 15.

He was also previously married to “40 Year Old Virgin” star Catherine Keener, with whom he shares son Clyde Mulroney.
