Brooklyn Beckham draws Meghan Markle comparisons from fans after debuting ‘runny’ homemade jam

Brooklyn Beckham received brutal criticism from fans — and comparisons to Meghan Markle — after he debuted his version of homemade strawberry jam.

The photographer-turned-chef recently took to Instagram to share a step-by-step video of himself preparing the strawberries, cooking them and serving the finished product on a slice of sourdough bread.

The clip showed him handing the toast off to a woman, assumed to be his wife, Nicola Peltz, though he cut off the video before a taste test could be performed.

“Strawberry jam x,” Beckham, 26, captioned the video.

While some people praised the businessman’s technique, commenting, “looks great” and “very nice,” others were quick to throw shade.

“First Meghan, now you! What’s the obsession with strawberry jam? Anyone can make it… 🙄,” one person commented, referring to the Duchess of Sussex’s hot but highly criticized jam she sells through her As Ever business.

“The New Meghan Markle 😂😂😂,” another quipped.

“Looks a bit runny,” a third commented, as a fourth wrote, “Get a proper job that pays your lifestyle!”

“Passion but that’s the slopiest s–ttest looking jam on the planet,” another declared.

Others commented on Brooklyn’s ongoing feud with his parents, David and Victoria Beckham, writing, “Call your parents,” and “How is your family?”

Loyal fans, however, rushed to Brooklyn’s defense, calling out the “bitter” and “nasty” critics.

“bunch of psychopaths acting like they give a damn if he calls his family or not,” a supporter wrote.

“All the trolls out in full force again with totally boring and irrelevant comments. Just spreading the hate and spite,” a second chimed in.

Reps for Brooklyn weren’t immediately available to Page Six for comment.

Brooklyn has yet to address his and Peltz’s drama with his family, which first made headlines in April with reports that Brooklyn and his brother Romeo Beckham were at odds.

The following month, it was reported that Brooklyn and his wife, 30, were fed up with his alleged “narcissistic” parents.

The couple was then notably absent from David’s 50th birthday, and Page Six learned they were in “no contact” with the rest of the Beckham clan.

Victoria, 51, and the retired athlete were not in attendance when Brooklyn and Peltz renewed their vows earlier this month after the designer allegedly ruined their 2022 wedding.
