Eminem’s daughter Alaina Scott welcomes first baby — and reveals sweet inspiration behind her name

Eminem’s daughter Alaina Scott and her husband, Matt Moeller, welcomed their first child — daughter Scottie Marie — on Tuesday.

“My heart outside my body,” Scott penned via Instagram on Thursday. “She’s everything and more. Scottie Marie Moeller born 4/14/26. Welcome to the world my sweet darling🕊️.”

And the little one’s moniker holds a special meaning for the new mom, as she explained in the caption, “Scottie, in honor of my ‘scott sisters.’ The women who have given the name and my life so much meaning. May she now give it a meaning of her own and always know how loved she is, by mom + dad, and her aunties.”

Scott also took a moment to praise her partner, whom she tied the knot to in 2023.

“To my husband, I can’t believe she’s ours,” Scott, 33, gushed. “Thank you for giving me the greatest gift of my life. I love you endlessly.”

Beneath the sweet caption, the esthetician shared two shots of the newborn in a sweater that read “Scottie,” and an image of herself, Moeller and their newest addition in the hospital bed together.

Scott first revealed she was expecting in October with an adorable social media post.

She shared a picture to Instagram at the time of herself and Moeller standing in a field while holding up a onesie that read, “Baby Moeller” and “Coming 2026.”

Other pictures in the carousel included Scott leading a blindfolded Moeller through the house they are building.

Once Moeller removed the blindfold, he saw Scott standing in front of him holding a box that contained a positive pregnancy test.

The couple was surrounded by gold balloon letters that spelled out “Baby M.”

“THE BEST OF YOU + ME,” Scott gushed. “For months, I’ve carried a tiny heartbeat inside me, one that has already changed mine in every possible way. There’s something indescribable about knowing there’s a little life growing, dreaming, and becoming, all while you go about your day, whispering prayers and hopes only they can hear.”

She continued, “I’ve never felt more grateful for this gift and to grow our family, something we’ve wanted for so long. Thank you God for this blessing.”

“Baby M, we can’t wait to meet you, little one🤍.”

Alaina’s sister, Hailie Jade — who welcomed her first child, a son, in April 2025 — sweetly wrote, “Sooo happy for you guys 🥹 can’t wait to be this little ones auntie & elliot is so excited to meet his cousin 🤍.”

Meanwhile, Scott and Moeller’s love goes way back. The pair dated for more than seven years before Moeller popped the question to Scott in December 2021.

The Grammy winner, who is now a grandpa for the second time, and his ex-wife Kim Scott welcomed Hailie, 30, in 1995.

He legally adopted Scott in the early 2000s due to her mother, Kim’s sister, struggling with drug addiction.

She later died of a suspected overdose in 2016.

Eminem’s third child, Stevie, 24, is biologically the daughter of Kim and the man she dated in between her two marriages to the rapper.

Eminem legally adopted Stevie in 2005 after the exes got back together.
