‘Love Island’ star Maura Higgins shuts down plastic surgery rumors

Maura Higgins puts the real in reality.

The “Traitors” star opened up to Allure about her beauty routine and what plastic surgery she has — and hasn’t — undergone.

While Higgins admits that her current look does stand in contrast to her 2019 “Love Island” debut, she says she hasn’t gone under the knife.

“All the time, I’m seeing these videos come up on TikTok, and it’s like, yeah, she’s definitely had cheek filler. The amount of times I’ve read that I’ve had cheek filler … I have never in my life had cheek filler,” Higgins states.

She also slams surgery speculation, saying, “They say I’ve had an eyelift, but I don’t know how that procedure is done.”

The 35-year-old did acknowledge that she used to get lip filler, but has “not had it in years” and that she regularly gets Botox.

She also added that she straightened her smile with Invisalign and added bonding over her teeth, “which obviously is going to change my face a lot,” she adds.

Higgins continues, “I’ve definitely lost weight since ‘Love Island.’ And knowing how to do your makeup to suit your face, I think that makeup can change someone an awful lot.”

While the Irish star appears frustrated with the speculation, she promises that if she were to go under the knife, she wouldn’t keep it a secret. “There are even articles going, ‘Maura says she doesn’t have any procedures.’ They’re nearly making out that I’m lying,” she says. “I’m like, guys, you don’t understand. I would be so truthful.”

“If I went and got work done, I would be so open about it,” she promises. “If it’s something that’s going to make me feel more confident in myself, and I wanted something done, I would go and do it.”

Plus, she already has a doctor in mind. “When I need a facelift, best believe I’m going to get a facelift. I want to go to Kris Jenner’s person because that was incredible.”
