‘Love on the Spectrum’ star Tyler White is planning a big surprise for his wedding to Madison Marilla
Wedding bells are on the horizon for “Love on the Spectrum” stars Tyler White and Madison Marilla — and the groom-to-be is already dreaming up a moment straight out of a country love song.
In an exclusive interview with Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea,” White reveals he’s planning to debut an original track during one of the couple’s most intimate wedding moments: their first dance.
“I just wrote a song and I think I’m probably going to sing it for our first dance,” he shares. “I’ll sing it while I’m dancing with her.”
While White, 28, is an aspiring country artist himself, Marilla, also 28, admits she wouldn’t mind a little star power on the big day — if she had her pick. “I would choose either Blake Shelton or Luke Bryan because they’re fun and upbeat,” she says.
For now, though, actual wedding planning is on pause. The couple had to keep their engagement under wraps for months ahead of the latest season’s release — a challenge they both described as difficult.
“Well, we haven’t planned the wedding yet because we had to keep it a secret due to television,” White explains. “Of course, I want to get my music career off and running and being in a place where I can financially support her. But we’re definitely going to plan when the timing’s right, for sure.”
Marilla echoes the sentiment, adding, “Yes, to be honest, we had to keep it a secret. And it was hard to keep it for those nine months, but we want to have our wedding when the timing is right.”
When the planning does begin, Marilla already knows what she’s most excited about — and it’s equal parts sentimental and sparkling.
“I have lived so many places, so getting all my friends from different places I’ve lived and finally meeting is one thing [I’m most excited about],” she says. “Of course, the whole entire cast is invited and their families are invited too. And I’m also excited to find my dream princess ballgown.”
A self-proclaimed Disney enthusiast, Marilla has a clear vision for her bridal look, drawing inspiration from a beloved fairy tale icon.

“It’s an easy one for me,” she says. “It would be Cinderella with the cap sleeves and the scoop neck and lots of bling, lots of tulle.”
As for White, he’s hoping to put a personal spin on the celebration by weaving in his passion for cars and racing.
“I might have a NASCAR groom’s cake,” he teases. “I might even have the send-off vehicle be a Camaro, a Corvette or a Chevy pickup truck.”
Between a live serenade, a princess-worthy gown and a high-octane send-off, this wedding is shaping up to be anything but ordinary.
“Love on the Spectrum” is available to stream on Netflix.
