Cher’s son arrested for second time in days after assault and trespassing bust
Cher’s son, Elijah Blue Allman, was arrested for felony burglary and breach of bail days after he was charged with assault.
The 49-year-old was taken into custody after allegedly breaking into a home in New Hampshire on Sunday, according to a Windham Police Department press release.
He was also charged with two counts of criminal mischief and ordered to be held on preventative detention at his arraignment on Monday.
The break-in resulted in an unnamed female concealing herself in a closet, per TMZ.
When authorities arrived, they located Allman smoking a cigarette on a living room couch.
Nothing was reported stolen from the property, but the musician allegedly caused damage of around $1,700 to one door and another $1,000 to a rug he dropped a cigarette on.
A spokesperson for Cher, 79, and the police department wasn’t immediately available to Page Six for comment.
Allman’s second arrest comes after he was detained for alleged assault and trespassing at St. Paul’s School in Concord, N.H., on Friday.
Officers for the Concord Police Department responded to the prep school after receiving a report of a suspect “causing a disturbance and acting belligerently” around 7 p.m.
The son of Cher and her late ex Gregg Allman, who died in 2017, was then taken to the Merrimack County Jail and charged with two counts of simple assault, and one count each for criminal threatening, criminal trespass and disorderly conduct.
He was released from custody on personal recognizance and scheduled to be arraigned in court at a later date.
It’s unclear why Allman was at the school.
Over the years, Allman has openly struggled with addiction, and Cher has taken drastic measures to try to intervene.
Insiders told Page Six in September 2023 that the “Believe” songstress “kidnapped” Allman with the assistance of other men to get him enrolled in rehab following a drug relapse.
That same year, she filed to place Allman under a conservatorship, stating that she was concerned he couldn’t care for himself or “manage his own financial resources.” The actress withdrew her petition after nine months.
Allman was later reportedly hospitalized after a drug overdose in June.
