Chloe Fineman is leaving “Saturday Night Live” after seven seasons.

“After 7 wonderful seasons at ‘SNL’ I have decided it’s time for my next chapter,” the comedian announced via Instagram Thursday, alongside a carousel of snaps from her favorite memories and sketches from the shoe.

“It’s cliche to say this but working at ‘SNL’ has been the greatest privilege of my life. I still can’t really believe I got to be a part of it.”

I fell in love with the place the second I walked through the door,” she continued. “Lorne [Michaels] (if you’re reading this on your burner account) I want you to know that I am forever in your debt.”

Fineman gushed over her former co-stars, calling them “the best in business” and reflected on some of her favorite and outlandish memories while working on the show.

“But that’s just the show. You respect it so much that you give it absolutely everything you have even when it’s incredibly stupid.”

The actress, 37, admitted that it was “really hard” for her to leave the show, but it “does feel like the right time.”

“I’m going to miss it a lot. But the people who work there are my family and that place is my home, and I know I’ll never be too far away.”

Several “SNL” stars took to the comments section to react to the news.

“Congrats Carlotaaaa ❤️‍🔥🫱🏼🫲🏼 💃,” Marcello Hernandez wrote. “SNL legend 😭,” Ben Marshall added.

Ego Nwodim, who departed from the show in last year, commented, “Congratulations Chloe!!!👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾”

Nwodim and fellow alum Heidi Gardner opened up about the show’s “challenging” on-set dynamic after they both left.

Her departure also comes after fan-favorite Bowen Yang’s shock exit in December 2025.

Fineman joined the NBC show for Season 45 in 2019.

In the most recent Season 51, Fineman was the longest-tenured “SNL” female cast member.

Fineman already has her next project lined up, per Deadline, Netflix’s drama series “Myron Bolitar.”

She will star in the show alongside Colin Woodell, KJ Apa and Diane Guerrero, according to the outlet.
