Coldplay fan who filmed Astronomer CEO on kiss cam responds after exposing his alleged cheating

She wasn’t expecting something just like this.
The Coldplay fan who inadvertently turned Astronomer CEO Andy Byron and his company’s HR chief Kristin Cabot‘s “lives upside down” feels “bad” about revealing their alleged cheating.
However, Grace Springer, who attended Wednesday’s concert in Boston’s Gillette Stadium, told The UK Sun on Thursday that those who “play stupid games … win stupid prizes.”
The 28-year-old explained to the outlet that she “decided to post” the footage of the horrified duo attempting to dodge the kiss cam because it was “an interesting reaction.”
She noted, “I had no idea who the couple was.”
Springer added that she hopes “their partners can heal from this and get a second chance at the happiness they deserve with their future still in front of them.”
She believes the footage can be a “blessing in disguise” for Byron, Cabot and their loved ones.
Springer posted the now-viral video on Wednesday, during which Coldplay frontman Chris Martin told concertgoers to “look at these two” cuddling — only for them to panic and duck away from the camera.
“Either they’re having an affair or they’re just very shy,” the singer, 48, joked. “I hope we didn’t do something bad.”
At the time, Byron appeared to say, “F–king hell, it’s me,” while Cabot seemingly called the moment “awkward.”
By the following day, the couple had been identified.
Cabot, whom Byron raved about when she was hired in November 2024, is divorced.
As for Byron, he is married to Megan Kerrigan, who deleted her Facebook in the wake of the scandal.
Byron previously worked at Cybereason and was called out in a resurfaced exposé for allegedly “lash[ing] out” and “threaten[ing]” employees.
Coldplay ignored the viral moment while rounding up photos from the Massachusetts show via Instagram Thursday, with many fans commenting to sarcastically ask whether “anything else happened?”
Byron has yet to address the scandal, although two fake statements have circulated online.
In one, Bryon seemingly divulged the “shame” he felt over his “inexcusable” love of Coldplay’s music, and the other quoted the band’s “Fix You” lyrics.
Springer, for her part, requested that those entertained by her video help pay off her $80,000 in student loans.
