Cops show up to A-list Hamptons bash after ‘rich’ guest brawls with the door girl, ‘fighting to get in’

There was a melee at an A-list bash in the Hamptons over Fourth of July weekend, we hear, when a scuffle erupted between an aggressive female party-goer and the door girl.

And it all ended with an arrest.

One source described a chaotic moment outside the party — hosted by hospitality guru Richie Akiva at tech mogul David Rosenberg’s estate that included guests like Leonardo DiCaprio and Toby Maguire.

Away from the A-listers, people were clamoring to get in after the entry gate was shut. 

“The crowd rushed the door to get in,” explained a source. “This girl went after the girl with the clipboard and hit her. She jumped on her, and the clipboard girl pushed her off to protect herself in self-defense.” 

Another source described the scene as, “A rich girl was being demanding.”

“She was fighting to get in with the door girl,” added the source. “She got in the door girl’s face, and hit her or pushed her, and the door girl punched her in the face.” 

Our source tells us that, “Cops came and arrested the girl since she started it,” but that the police were “there awhile trying to figure out” which one they should cuff. 

The second source stated, “They arrested her because she attacked the door girl.”

There is no word yet on who the mystery aggressor was, and Southampton cops did not get back to us.

Unlike the one lady who was allegedly hauled off, others took a more peaceful approach to getting past the velvet rope… by sneaking through the bushes.

It was a good way to tell a crasher from a VIP, we hear, because “the people who climbed through the bushes to get in showed up with mud all over them.”

It was likely worth it!

Rapper ASAP Ferg performed at the party and DiCaprio was spotted playing the hero by helping a wasted party guest stand up, we previously reported.

“At one point Leo picked up a very drunk guy, and put him by a pole. The guy was literally falling over,” said a spy. “Leo put out his hand on [the pole] so he wouldn’t fall and said, ‘Stay there.’”

We hear the man obeyed. A spy tells us they later saw the over-served guest asleep on a couch.

Twitter founder Jack Dorsey, NBA star James Harden, Kris Jenner’s beau Corey Gamble and newly single Sports Illustrated model Brooks Nader also attended.
