Craig Conover claims ex Paige DeSorbo suggested getting married at BravoCon 2025 after their breakup
Spinning the block?
Craig Conover claimed on the “Southern Charm” Season 10 reunion that ex-girlfriend Paige DeSorbo suggested they get married at BravoCon 2025, which takes place in Las Vegas later this year.
“I went to her apartment to just be like, ‘What’s happening?’” Craig recalled on Thursday’s reunion episode, per People.
“And she was like, ‘I probably am making the worst mistake of my life, but I need to go find myself.’ And then I asked, ‘Well, what do you want me to do with the ring?’ And she’s like, ‘Well, keep it. Maybe we’ll get married at BravoCon.’”
In a previous episode, Conover, 37, claimed DeSorbo, 32, broke up with him over the phone after they celebrated Thanksgiving together.
When asked by Andy Cohen why he didn’t come clean about their split when it happened, Conover admitted he didn’t think it was “real.”
“This isn’t like we broke up and it was over and I moved on with my life. We had been planning our life together for three years, and she fantasized about the family and stuff,” he explained.
“And so yes, I had been in a weird place throughout December for which we continued to talk throughout December.”
DeSorbo eventually announced their breakup on the Dec. 30 episode of her and Hannah Berner’s “Giggly Squad” podcast.
During the episode, the “Summer House” star told listeners the split “wasn’t a bad thing” and she has “so much love and respect for Craig.”
Conover gave his version of events on Thursday’s reunion special, claiming she gave him a heads-up on the same day the podcast episode was released.
“Two days before New Year’s, she texted me and said, ‘I just want you to know, I talked about it on my podcast that we’re no longer together,’” he claimed.
“And then all my stuff just showed up on my porch one day. Like, then it became real.”
Conover publicly reacted to DeSorbo’s breakup announcement in early January, calling the situation “very, very unexpected.”
The exes’ split has since turned messy. In February, DeSorbo accused Conover of texting other women during their relationship, which he denied.
DeSorbo was also accused by fans on social media of cheating on Conover, while he refused to come to her defense.
During the reunion, Conover claimed DeSorbo has changed since ending their three-year romance.
“To me, the person that she’s kind of been since the breakup isn’t the person that I remember dating,” he said.
“She’s fighting with people in the comments, she’s starting to say mean stuff about me based on what the internet is saying. And I’m just like, I didn’t do anything to you.”
However, Conover admitted he “wasn’t a perfect boyfriend and I had a lot of s–t that [he] had to work out.”
Reps for DeSorbo did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
