David and Victoria Beckham make desperate offer to Brooklyn in attempt to end bitter feud: report
If you wannabe a family, you’ve got to get along.
David and Victoria Beckham are desperately trying to mend their years-long estrangement from their eldest child, Brooklyn Beckham.
According to an article published in the Cut on Wednesday, insiders who are close to the family claim that the soccer player and Spice Girls alum have continuously offered to meet Brooklyn and his wife, Nicola Peltz, in whatever state they wish.
The source alleges that whether that be with lawyers, Peltz’s family members, a therapist or a mediator, they are pressing to repair the relationship.
However, in January, Brooklyn, 27, issued a scathing statement — making it clear he wasn’t looking for a reunion.
“I do not want to reconcile with my family,” the aspiring chef wrote via Instagram at the time.
The star went on to claim that the bad blood has been brewing since before he married Peltz in 2022 due to his parents’ distaste for the influencer.
In the shocking social media post, Brooklyn accused his parents of controlling narratives about their family to the press his “entire life” with “performative social media posts, family events and inauthentic relationships.”
Brooklyn also confirmed Page Six’s previous report that Victoria “ruined” their wedding day when she stole the spotlight on the dance floor.
“My mum hijacked my first dance with my wife, which had been planned weeks in advance to a romantic love song,” he penned.
While Victoria and David — who are also parents to sons Cruz and Romeo and daughter Harper — have yet to address Brooklyn’s allegations, they have continued to show their love and support for him both on and off social media.
Last month, the fashion designer and athlete each posted birthday tributes to Brooklyn on Instagram, with David writing beneath his photo dump, “We love you.”
Meanwhile, the couple aren’t the only family members who are feeling Brooklyn’s absence.
While performing at the Courtyard Theatre in London in March, Cruz wiped away tears as he sang “Loneliest Boy,” a track from his band, Cruz Beckham & The Breakers, that is seemingly inspired by his relationship with his older sibling.
“Loneliest boy, I hope that you’re listening,” the 21-year-old sang to the crowd, which included his parents, in footage obtained by the Mirror. “Don’t push all your friends away, when we’re tryna show you love.”
