‘Downton Abbey’ star Michelle Dockery welcomes first baby with Jasper Waller-Bridge
Michelle Dockery is a mom!
The actress confirmed she recently welcomed her first baby with husband Jasper Waller-Bridge when she was seen pushing her little one in a stroller on Tuesday.
Per photos obtained by Page Six, the 44-year-old kept a low profile while walking around London in a black trench coat, matching sunglasses and a baseball cap.
Dockery’s rep did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
The outing comes one month after Hello magazine reported the “Downton Abbey” alum had given birth.
Dockery revealed her pregnancy news in September 2025 by debuting her baby bump on the “Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale” red carpet in a Prada dress.
She put her belly on display in the blue gown, which featured an off-the-shoulder design and flowing cape, while posing for pictures with her partner.
The following week, she told “Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” viewers she was “quite disappointed” that her dog, Alfie, had “no clue” she was expecting a little one.
Dockery has been married to “Fleabag” creator Phoebe Waller-Bridge’s brother since September 2023.
The duo tied the knot in London.
In January 2022, news broke that Jasper had popped the question as their relationship moved forward “slowly and in a considered manner.”
The pair got together in 2019 after meeting via mutual friends.
They became an item four years after Dockery lost her fiancé, John Dineen, to a battle with cancer at age 34.
The Golden Globe nominee explained to the Guardian in 2017 that she “considers [her]self a widow” because she and the PR executive were “married at heart.”
Dockery told the outlet, “I don’t have the vocabulary to describe what it felt like … I’ve never been more committed to anything in my life than him. So at the time everything just shut down. Work, everything.
“Work didn’t matter,” she continued. “You suddenly become an [oncological] expert. This stuff becomes your world, and that of course was my priority.”
The Emmy nominee spoke at Dineen’s funeral, reflecting on her late partner’s “legendary” charm and “extremely loyal” personality.
“I was honored to know John. To love him and be loved by him,” she said at the time, per Vanity Fair. “He was my friend, my king, my hero, my everything. We celebrate him, we honor him and we will miss him.”
Dockery, notably, has been tight-lipped regarding her and Jasper’s romance since moving on with the producer.
