Elizabeth Olsen steps out with newborn after quietly welcoming first child
Elizabeth Olsen is taking on a new role: motherhood.
The actress has apparently given birth to her and husband Robbie Arnett’s first child, as they were spotted in new photos taking a walk in Los Angeles on Saturday — with the “WandaVision” actress carrying an infant in a white baby carrier strapped to her chest.
Olsen, wearing white, donned a wide-brimmed hat during the outing, shielding the baby with another green hat.
Arnett, meanwhile, wore a casual pair of shorts, a turquoise long-sleeved shirt and sneakers for the walk.
Prior to the sighting, Olsen was spotted stepping out on Aug. 7 in Southern California — with no baby bump in sight — in a breezy yellow top, striped pants, and sandals.
A rep for the couple did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment on Saturday.
News broke in June that the “Martha Marcy May Marlene” actress, 37, and the musician, 34, had a baby on the way.
While Olsen did not publicly discuss her pregnancy news, she bared her bump while out and about in Los Angeles.
Years prior, the Emmy nominee made it clear she dreamed of starting a family during a SiriusXM interview.
“At what point do I get pregnant? At what point do I have my first baby?” she asked in 2021. “Is that five years from now? Because then I only have this kind of a window.”
Olsen had already spoken to Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige about when she “should … think about conceiving a child,” she revealed to OK! that same year.
He gave Olsen “the best answer any boss could say,” telling her, “You live your life and we’ll work around you.”
Feige, notably, said “the same thing” to Scarlett Johansson and Zoe Saldana.
Olsen and her partner have kept their relationship out of the public eye since getting together in 2017.
The duo met on vacation in Mexico.
Olsen did share the following year that her then-boyfriend had moved in with her — but she never addressed the 2019 engagement rumors.
Instead, she called Green her “husband” during a 2021 chat with Variety.
In June 2022, the Golden Globe nominee confirmed on the “Jess Cagle Show” that she and Green had walked down the aisle “before COVID.”
“We eloped and then we had a wedding at another time,” Olsen said at the time, without providing any further details on the nuptials.
Arnett’s past relationships have not been made public.
Olsen, for her part, previously made headlines for breaking off her engagement to her “Very Good Girls” co-star Boyd Holbrook in 2015.
The former couple had been an item since meeting on set in 2012.
