Friend of Dak Prescott’s Ex-Fiancee Says She Is ‘Single’ After Photos Surface With Cowboys QB

A friend of Sarah Jane Ramos, ex-fiancée of Dak Prescott, is clearing the air after photos surfaced of her at a rodeo with the Dallas Cowboys quarterback.

“I think that this is the opportunity to make sure that everyone knows that I am single,” Caitlin Rance, who was set to be a bridesmaid for Ramos, 32, said via her Instagram Story on Saturday, May 16. “I have a very active Raya profile and we’re just here to have a good time.”

Rance’s statement comes after TMZ Sports published a photo of her and Prescott, 32, at a Professional Bull Riders event in Fort Worth, Texas on Friday, May 15. A source told the outlet that they “looked a little more than just friends.”

Rance was called to ask about the nature of their relationship and she handed the phone to Prescott, who reportedly insisted the two have been friends since they attended Mississippi State University together.

Ramos, for her part, didn’t seem to take kindly to the development, firing off an apparent shot at her close friend via her Instagram Story on Saturday. She shared a Spotify screenshot of the song “Firm Friends” from Drake’s new album, Iceman, released on Friday. The song touches on betrayal and broken trust among friends.

Prescott and Ramos called off their engagement in March after more than two years together and just weeks before their planned wedding. They share daughters Margaret Jane “MJ” Rose, 2, and Aurora Rayne, 11 months.

An email that the former couple allegedly sent to their 250 planned wedding guests was leaked by TMZ in March, in which they announced their split.

“As many of you know, our wedding is currently scheduled to take place in Lake Como, Italy, on Friday April 10, 2026,” the email read. “It is with heavy hearts that we privately inform our attendees that we have made the very difficult decision to cancel our wedding. We deeply apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you and we welcome your prayers.”

As rumors swirled over the possible reasons for their breakup, including Prescott’s alleged infidelity, a rep for Ramos told People that the decision was “mutual.”

“There wasn’t any rockiness in the lead-up, and there was no big argument or blow up,” the rep said at the time.

“They love their girls, and they’re committed to raising their children together in the most loving and positive way,” the rep added. “It’s still shocking for them since this happened so recently, and they ask for privacy while they sort everything out.”
