Hailee Steinfeld reveals name of her and husband Josh Allen’s baby daughter

Hailee Steinfeld finally revealed the name of her and husband Josh Allen’s infant daughter — Harper Haize Allen.

“Dearest Harper, I’m in awe of you,” Steinfeld wrote in an entry on her Beau Society Substack on Friday, entitled “A letter to my daughter”.

“You’ve been here for only a short while now, and somehow it feels as though you’ve always been ours.”

The “Sinners” actress, 29, described the last “few months” as “beautiful and exhausting,” and “sacred and so special.”

In the lengthy blog entry, the actress wrote that she’s “learned that motherhood isn’t made up of grand moments as much as the tiny, precious ones.”

The “Bumblebee” star continued, “The sway of tired hips in the middle of the night, your little milk-drunk smiles, and the quiet realization, over and over again, that my heart is now somehow living outside of my body and it always will.”

“And even though I know I am meant to guide you through this life, Harper Haize Allen, the truth is that already, you have taught me far more than I could ever teach you,” she went on.

“One day you’ll read this and know that to be true, my sweet girl.”

Harper and Allen wed in a romantic ceremony in California on May 31, 2025. In a December Substack entitled “29 moments I love this year,” she revealed they were expecting their first child.

Wearing a jacket reading “mother,” Steinfeld was seen in a video clip exposing her growing baby belly while Allen kissed it.

The pair pointed to her belly before pointing at a small snowman, referencing the impending arrival.

The NFL star, 30, and actress welcomed their first child earlier this year, with Steinfeld again taking to her Substack to share the news.

“Our baby girl has arrived!! We’re feeling incredibly grateful and blessed and savouring these early moments. Thank you so much for the love and well wishes,” she wrote on April 2, signing the announcement, “Love, Hailee and Josh.”

The actress later took to Instagram last month to mark her first Mother’s Day, sharing a snapshot of their little one’s hand clinging to her finger. 

She also uploaded a pic of the child’s polka dot onesie, but steered clear of showing Harper’s face. 

“A day late but simply obsessed with this 💗” she gushed at the time.
