Hailey Bieber was the ‘driving force’ behind Justin’s decision to headline Coachella

The Beliebers reportedly have Hailey Bieber to thank for Justin Bieber’s forthcoming performance at the 2026 Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival.

“Hailey was a big influence on Justin’s decision to headline Coachella,” a source told Us Weekly Monday. “She nudged him and is always in his corner hyping him up.”

The “incredibly supportive” model, 28, reportedly “assured” her husband that “now is the best time” to take the stage again.

A second source echoed the sentiments, calling Hailey the “driving force behind Justin doing Coachella.”

Given that Hailey was a fan of the pop star before marrying him in September 2018, she reportedly “always reminds him that he’s the Justin Bieber.”

The second source added, “She knows firsthand how much it means to his fans to see him back on stage, so she was like, ‘You have to do this!’”

Justin, 31, has turned down offers to play at the Indio, Calif., event in the past, but he changed his mind after finally releasing new music this summer — albums “Swag” and “Swag II” — without the help of his former manager Scooter Braun.

“He feels this is the best way to share his new music with fans and is very excited about the opportunity,” Us Weekly’s first source said.

“He is more in control of his career. He doesn’t have people making decisions for him anymore.”

Last week, Coachella organizers announced that the Grammy winner — who had taken a step back from the spotlight amid mental health concerns — would be headlining next year’s music festival along with Sabrina Carpenter and Karol G.

For the two-day gig, Justin will reportedly make an unprecedented $10 million.

“It’s a groundbreaking move for a headliner, and it’s something he built entirely on his own,” a source told Rolling Stone following the announcement.

“Between headlining Coachella and the success of ‘Swag,’ it’s clear this is the start of an exciting new era for Justin — one where he’s fully in the driver’s seat.”

The musician reportedly landed the seven-figure deal without an agent, signing directly with the festival’s promoter, Goldenvoice.

While Justin acknowledged the ups and downs of his marriage to Hailey on both albums, he ultimately shut down rumors that the couple is divorcing.

In fact, the Biebers — including their 1-year-old son, Jack — put on a united front while scoping out the grounds at Coachella Valley over the weekend.
