Harry Styles shows off his tattoos in leopard short shorts for Runner’s World cover
Harry Styles is no stranger to a magazine cover.
However, the singer’s latest isn’t the typical Vogue or music mag photo shoot. Rather, Styles is discussing his newest obsession — long-distance running — on the cover of Runner’s World ahead of his album release on Friday.
The Former One Direction star, 32, flaunted his abs — and his vast array of tattoos — in the shirtless pics.
Lensed by Laura Jane Coulson and styled by longtime stylist Harry Lambert, he wears nothing but leopard-printed compression shorts underneath a set of black running shorts the cover.
The “Golden” singer shows off his vast array of tattoos in the snaps.
In the images, Styles stretches and runs wearing a mix of vintage goods, his own Pleasing brand and running staples like Oakley sunglasses and Nike sneakers.
While Styles has been spotted running around town while training for his two marathons in short shorts and bright clothing, the bold styles for his shoot include shorter-than-ever shorts covered in cheetahs.
In conversation with novelist Haruki Murakami, Styles opened up about his healthy habits, masculinity and fame.
“Something I’ve often struggled with, in the middle of a tour, is feeling like I’m not sure what I’m giving, not sure what I’m adding to the world,” he said.
“Especially when the reward system and the kind of…adulation that you can receive feels so loud. Like clearly I’m getting so much from this, I’m getting all this energy. People are giving me so much, which I deeply appreciate. But what am I contributing? At times I felt quite existential about that.”
He teased his upcoming album, “Kiss All the Time, Disco Occasionally,” revealing that he was inspired by time spent in Berlin clubs listening to techno.
“I wanted to re-create [what] I had on the dance floor, being lost in instrumentation and the musicality. It was so immersive, like, this is how I want to feel when I’m on stage too,” Styles said.
“I don’t want it to feel like a sermon I’m delivering. I wanted it to feel like, oh, we’re in this music together. Like I’m in it with you.”
