‘Hawk Tuah’ girl plans to become a philanthropist, give pizza to homeless

We hear viral sensation “Hawk Tuah Girl,” who hosted a party at the famed Memory Motel pop-up in the East Village this weekend, is planning to do some good with the windfall of cash she has been making.

Page Six exclusively reported last week that Tuah, real name Hailey Welch, was making $30,000 for the gig (plus additional drop-ins at the Ugly Duckling in Long Beach and Bull Smith’s Tavern in Smithtown). 

And eavesdroppers tell us she was sharing plans to spread her good fortune around a little.

“Hailey was saying at the event that she is going to use the money to ‘give back,’” says a spy at the party, telling us the focus of her generosity will be “animals and giving pizza to the homeless.” 

We’re told Welch is also talking about doing a podcast.

We hear she was swarmed at the party, where she took pictures with fans and autographed Memory merch. Tickets went between $45 and $55 a pop.

Welch went viral for a man on the street interview with Tim & Dee TV. When asked for her favorite sex tip, she twangily answered, “You gotta give ’em that ‘hawk tuah’ and spit on that thang.”

She has since been cashing in. She teamed up with Tennessee-based Fathead Threads to sell official “Hawk Tuah” swag, which have already brought in $65,000, we reported.

She also signed with management firm, the Penthouse.

Shaquille O’Neal is even helping Welch learn how to navigate her newfound fame, Page Six reported, after he’d brought the social media star into the DJ booth at Jon Bon Jovi’s new restaurant and rooftop bar, JBJ’s Nashville.
