Paris Hilton spends nine hours every week getting facials to maintain her perfect skin
Ever wonder how Paris Hilton’s skin remains so flawless? Well, we finally have the answer: facials, and lots of them.
A three-hour facial, three times a week to be exact.
Yes, you did the math right — that’s nine hours of facials per week. Must be nice!
On Tuesday, Hilton sat down with Emma Grede on her podcast, “Aspire with Emma Grede,” to discuss her former life as a reality star, her beauty routine and the legacy she hopes to leave.
“I take care of my skin like an Olympic athlete,” confesses Hilton. “My facialist, Heather Nicole, comes to the house three times a week to my ‘SL Spa.’ We do Neurotris — those EMS electric currents — plus her Skin Sculpt device, HydraFacials, red light therapy and oxygen treatments.”
And if that isn’t enough of a mouthful, she clarifies, “My three weekly facials are each about three hours long.”
The 44-year-old credits multitasking with her ability to spend quite so much time at the spa because, let’s be honest, even when the esthetician comes to your own home, nine hours of facials a week is a lot.
“I’ll be doing facials and body treatments while also working. I’ll have the Neurotris machine hooked up, so it’s like a workout while I’m on conference calls, approving products or writing music,” adding, “It’s beauty and business at once.”
Whether at the spa or not, Hilton has been spending every waking moment working on creating a legacy of which she is proud. Coming from a family that owns so many iconic properties, it’s a hard nut to crack.
“I’ve always wanted to be known as Paris, not Hilton,” the multi-hyphenate explains. “That’s been a huge driving force for me — to build my own empire.”
Following the success of “The Simple Life,” the star recalls struggling with her identity. “At the time, I had no idea what I was getting into—or that I’d have to keep playing her season after season. Eventually, the whole world just assumed that’s who I was.”
But it’s Hilton who is getting the last laugh, adding, “But it worked, and I basically built an entire brand around that character.”
And that’s why everyone loves Paris.
