Heated Rivalry’s Hudson Williams shares his workout plan

“Heated Rivalry” star Hudson Williams shared the inside scoop on the workout plan that helps him grow muscle and “upkeep” his butt.

“I want to keep this butt and get a bigger butt,” the Canadian actor, who portrays Shane Hollander in the Crave/HBO Max series, told Men’s Health in an interview published Wednesday.

He explained he hits the gym for full-body sessions about five times a week, or at least three days a week when he is travelling.

Each session is approximately 45 minutes to an hour long, consisting of three sets and up to 10 reps for each exercise.

For his legs, William, 24, prioritizes Bulgarian split squats before moving on to an intense upper body workout.

He incorporates lying dumbbell curls, dumbbell chest flys, seated single-arm cable rows, overhead tricep extensions and cable lateral raises.

To strengthen his core, Williams hits dragon flags on the floor.

With “Heated Rivalry” being renewed for a second season, Williams plans on spending more time in the gym before filming starts in the summer.

“I want to get bigger, juicier, thicker — I want to get big ass shoulders,” he said. “I want to put on 10 pounds of muscle.”

Williams shared that his co-star Connor Storrie, who portrays his on-screen love interest Ilya Rozanov, is his inspiration, saying, “I want to get as big as he was in the first season.”

“I think that guy is just going to eat so much protein that he’s going to ascend and he’s going to show up like an Olympia—Mr. Olympia,” he said.

Ahead of filming Season 1 of the hockey series, Williams recalled creator Jacob Tierney saying his physique should appear as if he eats pasta since typical hockey players “look like they drink beer” and are “wiry strong.”

However, he chose not to take Tierney’s advice when he saw his co-stars, including Storrie, 25, had “look[ed] like underwear models.”

“I’m okay talking about my butt, but poor Connor Storrie — who has the fattest butt I’ve ever seen on a man — I’m sure just wants to stop talking about his beautiful cheeks,” he said about his co-star.

“Heated Rivalry” is based on a series of novels written by Rachel Reid and follows two hockey star rivals who develop feelings for each other.
