Hilary Farr is clearing up some rumors.

The HGTV star, 74, shut down inaccurate reports about her being in declining health through an Instagram video shared on Wednesday, Nov. 26.

In the clip, Farr showed a fake news article that included a photo of her lying in a hospital bed wearing an oxygen mask with a title that read: “She Might Not Make It.” An accompanying caption added, “The physician caring for Hillary Farr’s cancer has provided a devastating update on her health: ‘She might never be seen on TV in the future.’ ”

Appearing in front of the fake article, Farr said, “Ta-da! I’m alive. Very, very, very much so alive and well, I’m happy to say.”

“Look at this thing, really?” she continued. “It’s so badly done. It’s crazy AI stuff.”

The former Love It or List It co-host continued to blast the doctored article for spreading lies.

“I hope none of you would really take any of this seriously and realize it is just fake beyond words,” Farr said.

She added, “Well, I’m here to prove that. So just checking in — all’s good with me.”

Farr’s response came after she shared a health update back in September, stating in a video, “I am a breast cancer survivor.”

She was diagnosed with the illness in 2014 and underwent three lumpectomies and radiation. Farr is now in remission.

Farr announced her departure from Love It or List It in 2023, after 19 seasons on the show.

She told PEOPLE at the time of her decision to leave, “I’m now very aware of really wanting to take joy out of every day, and that’s one of the reasons that it was time to leave Love It or List It, because it was becoming too easy.”

“I was in a rut. It’s been so many years. You want to feel that every day is something different and special and grasp for those challenges. That’s really what I think drives me, anyway,” Farr continued.

Farr added of working with her longtime co-host David Visentin on the show, “I was working all the way through cancer and he was always there. He had his little rough patches too here and there, and we were there for each other.”

Her friendship with Visentin, 60, Farr further explained, is “not going to just disappear because we’re not working together.”
