Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau hold hands as they resurface in Tokyo for singer’s Lifetimes Tour

Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau held hands as they stepped out for a date night in Japan.

The couple was photographed walking through Tokyo’s popular tourist area, Asakusa, before they headed to a restaurant for dinner and a show on Monday night.

Perry, 41, and Trudeau, 53, dined at Asakusa Sumo Stable Annex, which is known for its live sumo wrestling matches and traditional Japanese dishes.

The “E.T.” songstress bundled up in a brown leather jacket and tan cargo pants for the outing. She also covered her face with a mask.

Meanwhile the former Canadian prime minister wore a black coat and denim pants as he walked in front of her.

They both finished their casual looks with comfortable sneakers and baseball caps.

Perry is visiting Tokyo as she continues on her Lifetimes Tour. She’s expected to perform two shows at the Saitama Super Arena on Dec. 3 and Dec. 4.

While it was reported that Perry was making plans to spend the holidays with her new boyfriend, it appears the two spent the festive day apart.

The “Dark Horse” hitmaker showed off her holiday spirit as she posed for a selfie while wearing a beret decorated with a Thanksgiving meal last Thursday night.

“Hatty Thanksgiving,” she captioned the post.

Trudeau wasn’t seen in Perry’s social media post. It’s also unclear if he spent the day with his children, whom he shares with his estranged wife Sophie Grégoire Trudeau.

Though, he did attend his ex’s Canadian Thanksgiving celebration along with her entire family last month, according to photos she shared online.

Perry and boyfriend Justin Trudeau made their first public appearance as a couple in October as they celebrated the pop star’s birthday with a night on the town in Paris.

The pair first sparked romance rumors in July when they were seen going for a romantic stroll and later sitting for a dinner date in Montreal.

The politician has since been seen attending several shows on Perry’s Lifetimes Tour.
