Hip-hop producer Tay Keith has died. He was 29.

Keith — who co-produced Travis Scott’s 2018 hit “Sicko Mode” — was found dead in his Nashville apartment after a welfare check, Metro Nashville Police told TMZ Thursday.

His cause of death is unknown, and officers don’t suspect foul play.

The Memphis-born producer was nominated for a Grammy in the category of best rap song for “Sicko Mode” at the 61st annual awards ceremony in 2019.

He was also nominated for best rap song at the 2024 ceremony for his work on Drake and 21 Savage’s track “Rich Flex.”

Keith — born Brytavious Lakeith Chambers — also helped produce Drake’s 2018 song “Nonstop,” as well as BlocBoy JB’s 2018 single “Look Alive.”

Keith also worked on Beyoncé’s 2019 “Homecoming: The Live Album,” producing the bonus track “Before I Let Go.”

His latest Instagram post from May 7 announced Chris Brown’s newest track, “Call Your Name,” featuring GloRilla and Sexyy Red.

Before then, he promoted Sexyy Red’s new album “Yo Favorite Trappa Favorite Rappa.”

Additionally, Keith was listed on the 2025 Forbes’ 30 Under 30 Music list.

Highlighting his accomplishments, the listing reads, “At 23, Tay Keith became a Grammy-nominated producer for his work on Travis Scott’s ‘Sicko Mode,’ adding to his roster of clients like Cardi B, Eminem and music’s ‘Queen B’ Beyoncé.”

At the 2024 BMI Awards, he was also awarded producer of the year, per the outlet.
