How Jelly Roll hinted at Bunnie Xo divorce ahead of breakup news

Jelly Roll’s social media posts sparked split speculation before news broke of his and estranged wife Bunnie Xo’s divorce filing.

In his last Instagram upload before the breakup made headlines Monday, the country singer promoted a protein powder — and eagle-eyed fans noticed his “wedding ring [was] missing.”

One of the Grammy winner’s followers asked, “Wedding ring has been moved onto the left pointer finger since feb/march … is it due to weight loss or are they actually separated? 😵‍💫”

Many insisted the band “only fits his index finger,” with one noting, “I figure it doesn’t fit after his weight loss.”

The songwriter’s ring was missing completely in a Sunday TikTok, with social media users asking for clarification.

One commented, “don’t see a wedding ring.”

Jelly Roll’s rep did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.

We confirmed on Monday that the 41-year-old, whose real name is Jason Bradley DeFord, filed for divorce from his wife after nearly a decade of marriage.

He and the “Dumb Blonde” podcast host, 46, tied the knot in August 2016.

When they wed in Las Vegas, Bunnie Xo became the stepmom to her partner’s two children — daughter Bailee Ann, 18, and son Noah Buddy, 9.

The pair briefly broke up in 2018 but reconciled — which Bunnie Xo explained via TikTok in 2023.

“We finally committed to each other & did everything we promised each other the first night in 2016,” she recalled. “Our castle in the sand had to crumble so we could rebuild on solid ground.”

That same year, she and Jelly Roll renewed their vows.

The duo have continued to be open about their tumultuous romance, including the affair Jelly Roll had before becoming sober and their sex struggles.

Before the rapper lost 200 pounds, their intimacy was “horrible” and “bad” because Jelly Roll was “so big” he felt he had “to play Twister to have sex.”

Bunnie Xo confessed in April that they “slowed down” in that area because “big body changes mess with your head and hormones.”

She, notably, posted a cryptic upload of her own ahead of split news Monday by posing in lingerie and declaring she was “getting her sparkle back.”
