Ivanka Trump’s touching response to ex-sister-in-law Vanessa’s breast cancer diagnosis
Ivanka Trump sent a touching response to her former sister-in-law, Vanessa Trump, after the 48-year-old revealed her breast cancer diagnosis Wednesday.
“Praying for your continued strength and a swift recovery,” the ex-presidential advisor, 44, commented on Vanessa’s Instagram post.
“Love you mama,” Ivanka, whose brother Donald Trump Jr. is Vanessa’s ex-husband, added.
Ivanka’s supportive message came shortly after Vanessa took to Instagram with a “personal health update.”
“I’ve recently been diagnosed with breast cancer. While this isn’t news anyone expects, I’m working closely with my medical team on a treatment plan,” she wrote.
Vanessa then thanked her doctors for performing a “procedure” on her earlier this week.
“I am staying focused and hopeful while surrounded by the love and support of my family, my kids and those closest to me,” Vanessa added.
“Thank you for your kindness and support it truly means more than I can express. I kindly ask for privacy as I focus on my health and recovery,” she concluded.
Vanessa shares five children with Trump Jr.: daughters Kai, 19 and Chloe, 11; as well as sons Donald III, 17, Tristan, 14, and Spencer, 13.
The businessman, also 48, and Vanessa were married from 2005 to 2018.
The former model was last publicly seen celebrating her daughter Kai’s high school graduation last Friday.
At one point, Vanessa and Trump Jr.’s fiancée, Bettina Anderson, hugged and appeared friendly.
Vanessa’s boyfriend, Tiger Woods, also attended the ceremony — showing up late and leaving early.
Last week, the pro golfer, 50, was photographed getting off a private plane following his month-long rehab stint after being arrested on DUI charges.
He and Vanessa have been an item since late 2024, going public with their romance in March of the following year.
There have reportedly been “absolutely no talks of breaking up” since Woods’ March arrest.
