Jamie Foxx called out a guest after someone threw a glass bottle at rapper GloRilla during his daughter’s music festival held at his house.
In a video shared on X, the 57-year-old actor could be seen standing onstage at Skvlk Fest, the Halloween-themed music festival organized by his 17-year-old daughter, Anelise. TMZ was first to report on the incident.
GloRilla, 26, had apparently been performing when a guest threw the glass object at her, stopping the performance for a moment.
The Back in Action star can be seen immediately coming to her defense, demanding to know who threw the item and expressing disappointment.
“Why would you do something like that?” he yelled on a microphone. “Why would you throw something at the stage, man? This is for free.”
“Y’all don’t deserve this s—. That’s f—– up, bro,” he continued. “I’m so disappointed. I love y’all but hate whoever the f— that was. That ain’t cool, bro. You throw some s— at my house? That ain’t cool.”
GloRilla eventually continued her song and finished out her set.
Foxx and GloRilla (born Gloria Woods) have yet to comment publicly on the incident, but Foxx showed his support for Anelise and Skvlk Fest.
In a series of Instagram posts, he praised his daughter’s hard work putting together the festival, which featured artists such as Tyga and Leon Thomas.

“This is just a little taste of what was going on behind the scenes … my daughter, @anelisefoxx, has always wanted to throw the biggest party in the world,” he wrote alongside a video showing a rollercoaster, musical performances and merchandise.
“When she was a little kid, that was her dream and aspiration … it is now coming true,” he said of Anelise, who he shares with his ex Kristin Grannis. “The first annual @skvlkfest was amazing!!”
The incident comes 10 months after Foxx was struck by a glass at his birthday dinner, which required him to get stitches.
TMZ reported in December that the Academy Award winner was allegedly involved in an altercation at a Beverly Hills, Calif., restaurant. A spokesperson for Foxx told PEOPLE at the time that the actor was hit with a glass during his birthday celebration.
“Jamie Foxx was at his birthday dinner when someone from another table threw a glass that hit him in the mouth,” the spokesperson said at the time. “He had to get stitches and is recovering. The police were called and the matter is now in law enforcement’s hands.”
