Jana Kramer Shares Adorable New Family Photos as She Celebrates Her Son Roman’s 2nd Birthday

Jana Kramer’s son is officially 2!

On Thursday, Nov. 13, the country singer and actress, 41, shared a carousel of photos on her Instagram as she celebrated her son Roman James’ second birthday. In several photos, the toddler can be seen laughing and playing with his dad, Kramer’s husband Allan Russell, as they dip their toes into the ocean.

Kramer also included other adorable family photos with her daughter Jolie, 9, and son Jace, 6, whom she shares with ex Mike Caussin. Jolie wears a brown frilly dress and bends down to play with her younger brother, while Jace watches from behind his mom.

Kramer opted for a green frilly dress and smiled and laughed in several of the photos. “Capturing Roman in his truest form … all energy, love, and pure light. Happy birthday little man 💙 📸 @imagesofgracephoto,” Kramer wrote in her caption.

Kramer and Russell welcomed their first baby together, son Roman James Russell, on Nov. 13, 2023. He weighed 6 lbs., 1 oz. at birth.

“Allan and I are both overjoyed and truly grateful to announce the birth of our son. We feel blessed to have been given the chance to create something so special together,” the couple told PEOPLE, adding that their son’s middle name is a nod to their grandfathers. “James was both our grandpa’s names.”

The “Whiskey” singer announced that she was pregnant in June 2023. “It’s everything I’ve wanted and more,” Kramer told PEOPLE at the time. “Allan was so sweet. He wrote me this little sticky note saying, ‘You deserve the happy ending.’ ”

Kramer said the news was extra sweet because she wasn’t sure if she’d be able to get pregnant again.

“I’ve had miscarriages, so I didn’t even know if it was possible,” she shared. “I’m like, yes, it’d be beautiful for us to create something because I love this man. It would be the silver lining with everything that happened, but I’d always get kind of down about it because I didn’t know if I was capable of carrying a pregnancy again.”

During a June 2023 episode of her podcast Whine Down, Kramer revealed that she was expecting a boy. She explained at the time that the news was surprising to her since she “was convinced it was a girl.”
