Jenna Bush Hager shocked by husband Henry’s ‘rude’ lie detector confession

Jenna Bush Hager was shocked by her husband Henry Hager’s “rude” lie detector admission on Friday’s episode of “Today with Jenna & Friends.”

“Since my husband Henry is here co-hosting, we thought it would be the perfect opportunity to put each other on the spot in a segment we probably will regret later,” Jenna said.

Just before the pair began taking the test, the “Today Show” co-anchor warned her husband not to say anything “that’s going to ruin our marriage.”

With Henry in the hot seat, Jenna, 43, asked her husband, “Henry, have I ever given you ‘the ick?’”

The businessman, 46, quickly answered, “Yes,” which seemed to stun the “Jenna & Friends” host.

“Sometimes, in the morning, you know, you might want to brush your teeth,” Henry explained to his wife, whom he married in 2008.

“That is so rude!” Jenna shouted. “Okay, I’m gonna remember that in the next one.”

While the couple appeared to have fun during the segment, they were the focus of divorce speculation last month when many viewers noticed Jenna had taken off her wedding ring.

“I’m not wearing [a wedding ring] now because I broke my finger,” she explained, adding, “But don’t worry, I’ve seen some of the comments — Henry and I are still very happily married.”

Earlier this month, the former first daughter also addressed whether she and her husband would be having another child.

She played a small prank on her “Today Show” audience, joking that she had something to announce with a “drumroll” before letting them down easy.

“No, I have nothing to announce,” she shared. “I’m pretty sure I’ve come to terms that three –– even though it’s an imperfect number –– is the perfect number for our household.”

The couple are parents to daughters Mila, 11, Poppy, 9, and son Hal, 5.
