Jon Bon Jovi Is Excited for Millie Bobby Brown to Marry His Son Jake Bongiovi: ‘They’re Gonna Be Great Together’

Jon Bon Jovi has nothing but love for his future daughter-in-law Millie Bobby Brown!

Asked about the Stanger Things actress, 20, in a recent interview with The Times U.K., the “Always” singer, 62, said his son Jake Bongiovi’s fiancée “works really hard” and elaborated on why he’s ready to officially welcome her into the family.

“I’ve gotten to know her in the last year, she works really hard, and she and Jake will grow together in their own way,” Bon Jovi said.

“It is an accelerated version of what I went through 40 years ago and I think, with the support of family around them, they’re gonna be great together.”

Brown and Jake, 21, first sparked romance rumors in June 2021 and got engaged in April 2023.

The Bon Jovi frontman also fell in love with Jake’s mom Dorothea Bongiovi at a young age. The couple — who met at Sayreville War Memorial High School in New Jersey in 1980 — has four kids and is still married today.

Bon Jovi and Dorothea, 61, let their love take its time — while Brown and Jake appear to be moving at a faster pace. The elder couple eloped in Las Vegas in 1989 at the height of Bon Jovi’s fame, nine years after they first met.

“She sat next to me in history class,” he said of Dorothea in The Times U,K. “We’re from the same place, we’re the same age, and she was with me when I had less than zero, so we went on the journey together.”

As for the younger generation of Bongiovis, the British actress and Jake’s relationship appears to be going strong three years in.

In mid-March, the Damsel star celebrated her anniversary with Jake in her Instagram Stories.

“Three years of bliss,” Brown wrote over a playful photo of the pair cuddling. “Love you best friend.”
