Jordon Hudson Supports Boyfriend Bill Belichick at His First UNC Football Game as Head Coach

Bill Belichick had his biggest cheerleader on hand as he kicked off his first season as head football coach at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

As the football team took on Texas Christian University on Sept. 1, Belichick, 73, had the support of his girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, 24. The pageant queen was seen in a box during the game opposite former NFL star Randy Moss in the stands on Monday, Sept. 1.

Leading up to the season, Hudson has been showing her support for Belichick in other ways. 

Days before the kickoff of the football season, Hudson excitedly posted Belichick’s announcement that the UNC football team would be featured in a new Hulu docuseries. She also documented the news by posting a photo of herself on the field with Belichick, wearing a snakeskin Tar Heel blue jacket and blowing a kiss over her shoulder. 

Tagging @everwonder.studio @hulu @disneyplus in the caption, the post also included audio from Taylor Swift’s “Look What You Made Me Do,” a possible nod to rumors that her reported “demands” led HBO to scrap a UNC-focused season of the docuseries Hard Knocks.

In April 2025, she accompanied Belichick on the field as he attended a Practice Like a Pro event at the school. When she wasn’t hanging out with the former New England Patriots general manager, Hudson seemingly consulted officials and photographers standing just off the field.

A month later, it was reported that Hudson was banned from UNC football facilities; however, UNC later denied those claims. In a statement, obtained by PEOPLE, UNC said there have been “false reports about Jordon Hudson’s role.”

“While Jordon Hudson is not an employee at the University or Carolina Athletics, she is welcome to the Carolina Football facilities,” the statement continued. 

They also stated that Hudson will continue to function as a publicist for Belichick. “Jordon will continue to manage all activities related to Coach Belichick’s personal brand outside of his responsibilities for Carolina Football and the University.”

Months later, several football players spoke out about Belichick and Hudson’s relationship, noting that they don’t see his girlfriend as a “distraction” to the team. 

Speaking to ESPN at ACC media day on July 24, quarterback Gio Lopez and receiver Jordan Shipp said they fully support their head coach and have no issue with his personal relationship. 

“Social media can promote some narrative, but that was not a distraction to us at all,” Shipp said, adding, “There was never a problem, like people saying she was running practice.”

The receiver said he’s “never really seen” Hudson “in the building” at UNC. “That was never a problem.”

Lopez told the outlet the players see much more of Hudson online rather than at the campus. “I log on my phone and see something about Coach Belichick, so it is different, of course, but you’d never think that about him. He’s a normal guy, a normal coach. That’s how he carries himself. He’s very personable, not worried about the spotlight. He just does his job.”

Following UNC’s game against TCU on Sept. 1, they are slated to take on the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in Charlotte, N.C., on Saturday, Sept. 6.
