- The outing comes a month after Perry and Orlando Bloom ended their engagement
Justin Trudeau was spotted at Katy Perry’s sold-out Lifetimes Tour at Montreal’s Bell Centre on Wednesday, July 30.
Trudeau, 53, was seen in the crowd wearing a casual black t-shirt as he smiled while watching the singer’s performance in a photo shared on social media. PEOPLE has reached out to a representative for Perry for comment.
The spotting comes shortly after the former Canadian Prime Minister and Perry, 40, were seen on a walk with a small dog in a park in Montreal on Monday, July 28. The pair were later seen grabbing dinner at neighborhood restaurant Le Violon.
A rep for the restaurant told PEOPLE that the pair “seemed to have had a fantastic evening,” adding that the pair met Chef Danny Smiles and made their way to the kitchen after the meal to thank the staff personally.
“They were super kind and friendly to the staff, and it was an absolute pleasure to have them at the restaurant,” the rep continued.
The dinner came one month after PEOPLE confirmed Perry and Orlando Bloom, 48 — who broke up after nine years of an on-and-off romance — ended their engagement.
Perry kicked off the sold-out Lifetimes Tour in support of her 2024 album 143, and the set list features her greatest hits and deep cuts from her career, from “Firework” to “Thinking of You.”

“This show will be full of BPM (beats per minute). So I suggest wearing some sensible shoes and staying hydrated because I think there’s going to be a whole heck of a lot of us just dancing the night away,” Perry previously told PEOPLE exclusively.
As the tour continues, Perry’s daily album streams have continued to rise on Spotify, receiving 45.3 million streams.
To meet demand for surging ticket sales, the “Teenage Dream” singer announced additional shows in Asia end of the year. Perry heads back to the U.S. on Aug. 3 in Detroit to continue the U.S. leg of the tour.
