Kate Middleton’s waterproof boots trusted for 23-mile hiking challenge

It’s a shoe fit for a princess.

Kate Middleton completed the National Three Peaks Challenge last weekend, raising money for a cancer charity while scaling the highest peaks in Scotland, England and Wales in just 24 hours.

And given the grueling mission requires walking a total of 23 miles, Middleton dressed for the occasion right down to her functional footwear: Scarpa’s Terra GTX Waterproof Boots.

While they’re selling out fast on the brand’s website, the rugged shoes are still in stock on Amazon in all sizes (for now).

Promising “out-of-the-box comfort,” the Terra is made from water-resistant leather and has a Vibram sole for extra traction and durability on the trails.

The Princess of Wales isn’t the only one trusting the style for major hikes, as it’s earned a nearly perfect 4.8-star rating from customers.

“I wore these the entire way from GA to ME,” one Appalachian Trail through-hiker wrote, with photographic evidence attached. “I’m the only person I know who can say they only used one pair of shoes.”

A second shopper called them “simply the most comfortable,” while a third dubbed the design a “high quality sturdy all-around boot.”

It’s not the only style Middleton wore for the hike that’s still available to shop; we also found her North Face Summit Series Pacesetter Shorts in stock.

She paired them with a black T-shirt in photos posted on the royal family’s official Instagram account, which saw her celebrating the achievement with her kids and her husband, Prince William.

“I have taken on the National Three Peaks Challenge, not simply as a physical endeavour but as a chance to explore life beyond diagnosis and to give something back,” Middleton explained in a separate post.
