Kathy Griffin is sharing where things stand with her “former nemesis” Andy Cohen.
The comedian, 65, shared a video to Instagram on Tuesday, Nov. 25, responding to Cohen’s recent comments about her at BravoCon 2025. During the convention in Las Vegas, Cohen, 57, was asked if he’d ever “make up” with Griffin before saying they had actually “emailed the other day.”
Now, Griffin is revealing some details behind the “long email” she got from the Watch What Happens Live host.
“It was definitely interesting,” Griffin said. “And I emailed him back right away. And I don’t know what’s going to happen there, but I have a lot of feelings about that because I feel hurt in a lot of ways that I don’t think he quite understands.”
She added of his BravoCon comments, “But I appreciate that he said ‘never say never.’ Because I did love working at Bravo and I would love to do a special at Bravo again or a series or whatever. And never say never.”

Bravo was previously home to more than a dozen of Griffin’s stand-up specials from 2004 to 2013, as she also hosted late-night talk show Kathy on the network from 2012 to 2013. The comedian notably led Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D List for five years before its 2010 cancellation.
Griffin has long been vocal about her rift with Cohen since 2017. The Bravo boss boarded CNN’s New Year’s Eve Live alongside his friend Anderson Cooper following Griffin’s firing from the special. She lost the gig after coming under fire for posing with a mask of Donald Trump’s face covered in ketchup to resemble blood.
In October 2017, Cohen quipped to TMZ that he didn’t know who Griffin was when asked about the New Year’s news. Griffin fired back at Cohen on X by releasing a 17-minute long YouTube video; Cohen later explained on WWHL that he was quoting Mariah Carey in the TMZ exchange.
He eventually told Howard Stern in May 2018 that he had moved on. “I got the job on CNN, I’m on Bravo all these hours — I get it,” Cohen told Stern on his SiriusXM show. “So, hate me. I’ll be that guy for you, if it makes you happy and gives you peace. I’m just not going to take it on. I’m at peace. I’m a lover, not a fighter.”
The following year, Griffin told PEOPLE that Cohen was “one of the worst bosses I ever had.” Speaking with Entertainment Weekly in 2024, she also expressed her frustrations with both Cohen and Anderson Cooper, whom she said kept his distance after the Trump photo controversy.
“Why doesn’t anyone ask Andy Cohen these questions? Why am I always having to put my feet to the fire? I’m always asked about Anderson and Andy. That was done to me. I don’t have an answer,” she said.
Griffin most recently reflected on her “very triggering” firing while speaking with PEOPLE at Out Magazine’s Out100 party, where she looked back on how her perspective on life and her career has changed since 2017.
“I think it’s accepting that people don’t change,” she said. “I think I spent a lot of my life, whether it was romantically or career-wise, thinking somebody would change or I could maybe skew someone’s perspective. And now look, believe it or not, I have quite a few Trumper friends.”
“I even have friends that didn’t vote, they didn’t like either candidate,” she added. “But I think it’s important to be around people that do have different opinions and we get along. So there’s an understanding. And then there are some Trumpers that find me very triggering because of the Trump head picture. So I still am confronted about that photo to this day and complimented about that photo. But I get both.”
