Katie Holmes and Joshua Jackson have ‘Dawson’s Creek’ reunion in NYC

Katie Holmes and Joshua Jackson look even better together more than two decades after gracing the small screen on “Dawson’s Creek.”
Holmes, 46, and Jackson, 47, were snapped having a reunion Monday in New York City while on set of the upcoming feature film trilogy “Happy Hours.”
The chemistry between the two was still evident, as Holmes was pictured with a jubilant smile on her face.
The two were dressed casually, with Holmes wearing a loose flannel shirt and black pants, and Jackson sporting a green cargo jacket, jeans and a messenger bag.
The actress is writing, directing and starring in the project, Deadline reported Monday.
According to the outlet, “Happy Hours” is a character-driven dramedy about two people in a relationship (Holmes and Jackson) navigating the ups and downs of career and family commitments.
The first installment kicked off shooting this summer, with the second and third films scheduled to follow shortly after.
Holmes and Jackson were co-stars on “Dawson’s Creek” 27 years ago, with their characters — Joey Potter (Holmes) and Pacey Witter (Jackson) — ending up together by the end of the series.
They also dated in real life in 1998 while filming the show, though the relationship fizzled out after a year.
Jackson said he and Holmes were still very good friends during his appearance on “Modern Family” alum Jesse Tyler Ferguson’s “Dinner on Me” podcast in April.
“Busy [Philipps] and Michelle [Williams] are very, very close. And Katie and I are very close,” he shared.
He also said they didn’t need to be in regular contact to maintain their friendship.
“It’s not a daily call. Sometimes it’s not a weekly or monthly or even a half-yearly call. But when you’re together, A, there’s always that I know you know,” he explained.
“And B, there is, you know, these moments, like, these major moments in life are, other than your husband, there’s probably no other people in your life that you are that forged to,” he continued.
“Because you had to go through good and bad and happy and f–k you and don’t talk to me and I love you.”
Holmes has had several high-profile relationships since her breakup from Jackson 25 years ago. She was married to Tom Cruise from 2006 to 2012, and they share a daughter together, Suri, 19.
She also dated Jamie Foxx for six years.
She was last linked to composer Bobby Wooten III, though they reportedly split in 2022 after eight months together.
As for Jackson, he was previously married to “Queen & Slim” star Jodie Turner-Smith, but they split in 2024 after four years of marriage. They finalized their divorce in May, though their split has been contentious.
Jackson and Turner-Smith share daughter Juno, 5.
The “Mighty Ducks” star was last linked to Oscar-winning actress Lupita Nyong’o. Their relationship fizzled out by October 2024.
