Katie Price has confirmed she is leaving her beloved Mucky Mansion.

It comes after The Mirror revealed the former glamour model had been served an eviction notice on her home in Horsham, West Sussex. Katie risked getting evicted from her beloved Mucky Mansion after she was declared bankrupt over an unpaid £750,000 tax bill. Her creditors were granted eviction notices from Horsham County Court ordering she be turfed out of the house by the end of the month so the property can be flogged to settle some of her debts.

Katie applied to the court for a hearing so she could plea to stay at the home. The mum-of-five was given just days to vacate the premises. A second later appeared outside model’s home, dated 3rd May 2024, which warned the star she has just days to prevent her property being seized.

She had vowed nobody could make her leave Mucky Mansion and recently denied reports she was looking to move into a caravan. However, Katie has now said she “can’t wait” to leave the house after nine years living there. The 46-year-old stated she’s had “nothing but bad memories” while living there.

Katie said: “I absolutely hate the Mucky Mansion, even how it’s been called the Mucky Mansion because of all the stuff that happened there before. I can’t wait to get out of that house I’ve had nothing but bad memories in that house for nine years.” She added in the clip seen by the Daily Mail: “I hate the Mucky Mansion, I never want to see it again and I can’t wait to move into my new place, I am so excited.” Katie said she “would love a big caravan” but it wouldn’t fit her family.

She was first declared bankrupt back in 2019 and in March became bankrupt for a second time. A snapshot of the first eviction letter revealed that “the eviction will take place on May 29th, 2024, at 10am”. The eviction order from Horsham County Court, addressed to both Katie and “any other occupiers”, commanded her “to arrange to leave the property with [her] belongings before this time and date”.

A spokesman for Katie Price initially declined to comment to The Mirror when asked about her plea for an emergency court hearing. They later added: “As you say it’s a legal matter…a private matter so therefore I won’t be confirming anything.” It was reported earlier this month that Katie was facing a “real risk” of losing her £2million West Sussex abode.

She snapped up her residence back in 2014 for £1.3million, and it’s become a bit of a star itself, featuring in her Channel 4 renovation show after falling into disrepair. Earlier this year, Katie defiantly claimed her home was safe. She said: “You’ve followed my life, my journey, I say it as it is. Yes, I’m in a bankruptcy. But guess what? I own my house. No one could take it off me as well.”

Last week, she was hit with claims she would be moving into a caravan. Speaking on her VIP podcast, The Katie Price Show, she said: “Right, can I just clear something up here. My house isn’t being repossessed. I am not being evicted and I’m not moving into a caravan. Although, if I had to live in a caravan, one that the travellers have, I would love that. I would love one of them. So yeah, I would actually love that but I’m not living in a caravan guys.”
