Katy Perry grabs Justin Bieber’s butt in resurfaced video from 2012
Katy Perry grabbed Justin Bieber’s butt in a resurfaced video from June 2012.
In the clip, the “Teenage Dream” singer, who was 27 at the time, put her hand on 18-year-old Bieber’s rear end while meeting up backstage at Capital’s Summertime Ball in London.
Perry then looked at the camera and mouthed “Sorry Selena,” referring to Selena Gomez, whom Bieber was dating at the time.
Bieber, 32, has never publicly addressed the incident.
Page Six has reached out to Perry and Bieber’s reps for comment.
The old footage of Perry, 41, resurfaced after she denied sexually assaulting Ruby Rose two decades ago.
On April 12, the “Orange is the New Black” alum, 40, claimed on Threads that the incident allegedly went down at a nightclub in Melbourne, Australia, when she was in her 20s.
“Katy Perry sexual assaulted me at spice market nightclub in Melbourne. Who gives a s–t what she thinks,” Rose wrote in response to Complex Music’s post about Perry’s reaction to Bieber’s Coachella 2026 performance.
Rose claimed Perry “pulled her underwear to the side and rubbed her disgusting vagina on my face until my eyes snapped open and I projectile vomited on her.”
“After it I threw up on her, I told the story publicly but changed it to be a ‘funny little drunk story’ because I didn’t know how else to handle it,” Rose alleged. “Later she agreed to help me get my US visa. So I kept it a secret. But I DID tell yall she wasn’t a good person. ”
Perry’s rep denied Rose’s claim in a statement to Page Six.
“The allegations being circulated on social media by Ruby Rose about Katy Perry are not only categorically false, they are dangerous reckless lies,” the rep said.
“Ms. Rose has a well-documented history of making serious public allegations on social media against various individuals, claims that have repeatedly been denied by those named,” the statement continued.
Page Six has confirmed that Perry is being investigated by Australian officials over the alleged incident.
“Melbourne Sexual Offenses and Child Abuse Investigation Team detectives are investigating a historical sexual assault that occurred in Melbourne in 2010,” Acting Sergeant Paul Hogan of Victoria Police told us in a statement last week.”
Police have been told the incident occurred at a licensed premises in Melbourne’s Central Business District,” the statement added.
