Katy Perry nearly falls out of suspended sphere mid-concert

Katy Perry nearly fell out of a suspended metal sphere in a scary concert malfunction during her “Lifetimes” tour stop in Australia.

The “Teenage Dream” songstress was seen in a video shared via X tightly holding onto the bars inside the contraption to avoid slipping out while performing at Adelaide Entertainment Centre on Monday night.

The arena went dark as several stage crew members rushed to help the pop star.

The fan who shared the video wrote of the incident, “I was really scared. “

“She ended up jumping down with security’s help,” another chimed in.

“They took a bit to fix everything, and Katy was still kinda shaken during Nirvana,” they added, referring to the singer’s track from her “143” album.

“Potentially could have been bad but once it lowered, she was pretty safe,” a third wrote, as a fourth said, “Thank god she always holds onto the wrist straps because otherwise she would’ve hurt herself badly.”

Several others were glad that Perry, 40, was fine.

In April, the “E.T.” singer kicked off her sci-fi-themed tour — which was inspired by films such as 1997’s “The Fifth Element” — in Mexico City.

Perry created her tour sets around a character from a video game who fights evil forces, per the Associated Press.

At the time, she received hate from fans, who called out her choreography and controversial Blue Origin space flight.

The “Dark Horse” singer, however, defended herself in an Instagram comment on a fan page, writing, “I can continue to remain true to myself, heart open and honest.”

“My therapist said something years ago that has been a game changer, ‘no one can make you believe something about yourself that you don’t already believe about yourself’ and if I ever do have any feelings about it then it’s an opportunity to investigate the feeling underneath it,” she continued.

Perry, meanwhile, is going through a high-profile split from Orlando Bloom after 10 years together.

An insider told Page Six that the couple, who share 4-year-old daughter Daisy, had been on the rocks prior to their breakup.
