Maggie Baugh’s friend Alexandra Kay is nixing those Keith Urban romance rumors.

The country singer addressed rumors that Urban and his guitarist, Baugh, are dating amid his high-profile divorce from Nicole Kidman, in an interview with Taste of Country.

“Honestly, I was heartbroken for them because the media scrutiny is insane and the things that people say … They’re like, stirring up rumors about Maggie Baugh, and I’m like, ‘She’s a good friend of mine and I know that’s absolutely not true,’” she told the outlet in an interview published Wednesday.

“I feel sad for everybody involved that people are doing that and picking apart their personal life,” Kay continued. “I pray for peace for them and for everybody to have their privacy.”

Kay also claimed Baugh has a boyfriend — seemingly corroborating the Daily Mail’s recent claims that the guitarist is already romantically involved with someone.

“I’ve met her boyfriend, and she’s very happy, and she has nothing to do with that whole [Nicole and Keith] relationship,” she told the outlet.

Page Six has reached out to reps for Baugh and Urban.

Amid news that Urban and Kidman are headed for divorce after 19 years of marriage, footage of Urban and Baugh engaging in a flirty onstage interaction in Las Vegas in April resurfaced earlier this month.

In video obtained by TMZ, Urban performed “The Fighter,” which is about the “Big Little Lies” actress. After belting out the lyrics “I was born to love you,” he pointed directly at Baugh.

Baugh sang with him before hugging Urban at the end of the song. Urban also recently changed the lyrics in the Kidman-inspired song mid-show to include a reference to the guitarist, further fueling a firestorm of speculation.

The guitarist’s father, Chuck Baugh, told the Daily Mail earlier in October that he doesn’t “know anything about it, other than she’s a guitar player for him.”

He added, “It’s more of a musician thing than a dating thing,” and confessed that he’s “not heard one way or the other.”

Meanwhile, the 25-year-old musician was pictured in an affectionate carousel of photos with California lighting designer Cameron Coley, also 25, in an Instagram carousel earlier this month.

“1 year my love. A lifetime more,” Coley captioned the March 7 photos, according to Daily Mail, which also noted that Coley reportedly “liked” recent Instagram uploads by Baugh.

The Daily Mail also claimed to have traced Baugh back to a former west Nashville apartment, where a Nashville neighbor in her new neighborhood claimed she’d lived with Coley until the “beginning of the year.”

A neighbor in the area of her new Nashville home told the outlet that “She [Baugh] moved in a couple of months ago,” and the Daily Mail claimed a FedEx vehicle made a delivery for Coley at the home this month.

None of the neighbors that spoke to the Daily Mail said they had seen the “Sweet Thing” hitmaker, 57, at the new residence.

Page Six confirmed on Sept. 29 that Urban and Kidman, 58, had separated after 19 years of marriage.

“Sometimes relationships just run their course,” an insider told Page Six, adding that Kidman “did not want the separation and was trying to save things.”

The Oscar-winning actress and country singer have been living apart “since the beginning of summer,” multiple sources claimed to TMZ at the time.

Kidman subsequently filed for divorce on Sept. 30, citing the standard “irreconcilable differences” and including a parenting plan for their daughters, Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14.

A source alleged to TMZ at the time that Urban was rumored to be involved with “another woman.”

“All the signs point to the fact that Keith is with another woman,” multiple sources reportedly told the outlet.

“Let’s just say, Nicole doesn’t dispute that, but she’s still shocked over it.”
