Keke Palmer’s former ‘Scream Queens’ co-star Skyler Samuels applauds her for speaking up against on-set ‘bullies’

Skyler Samuels is a girl’s girl!

Samuels applauded Keke Palmer for speaking up about one of their “Scream Queens” co-stars allegedly making a racist remark on set.

“I am incredibly proud of Keke for speaking out about her experiences on ‘Scream Queens,’” the 30-year-old actress — who appeared in Season 1 of the show — wrote in the statement shared on Instagram Thursday.

“That’s what Keke does, she speaks up and stands up, for herself and others.”

The “Gifted” alum also claimed the Ryan Murphy series — which ran from 2015 to 2016 — was not an easy show to work on.

“‘Scream Queens’ was a very challenging show for me,” Samuels admitted. “Keke was one of the only people who stood up for me.”

The actress, who played the character Grace Gardner, then expressed her gratitude to Palmer, 31, for defending her despite the repercussions.

“She was brave enough to have my back even though she knew it might make her a target of bullies on set,” Samuels wrote.

“I have unending gratitude for the professionalism and kindness Keke showed me. She is a leading lady in this industry, who is well aware of her influence, and she uses it for the better.”

Palmer — who portrayed Zayday in the series — responded to Samuels’ praise in the comments.

“I love you honey ❤️,” the “Nope” star replied.

Samuels’ statement came several days after the Los Angeles Times published an excerpt from Palmer’s forthcoming memoir, “Master of Me: The Secret to Controlling Your Narrative.”

In her book, Palmer alleges a co-star — referred to by the pseudonym “Brenda” — had a “clash” with another cast member on set.

When Palmer attempted to diffuse the situation by telling them that they should “have fun and respect each other,” Brenda allegedly fired back, “Keke, literally, just don’t. Who do you think you are? Martin F–king Luther King?”

Neither Palmer nor Samuels have publicly identified who Brenda is.

Palmer and Samuels starred in the series alongside Emma Roberts, Abigail Breslin, Lea Michele and Billie Lourd.

Elsewhere in the memoir, Palmer recalls another sour incident on “Scream Queens,” which was co-created by Murphy.

The Nickelodeon alum claims Murphy “ripped” into her for missing filming to honor another job commitment she had booked because she was initially told she had the day off.

“Master of Me: The Secret to Controlling Your Narrative” will be available on Nov. 19.
