Kelly Ripa admitted to getting microneedling done to her butt

Most people have heard of microneedling for the face — but Kelly Ripa had a different body part in mind.

The morning show host played guinea pig with the skincare treatment, sharing her experience on Lukas Gage’s podcast.

“Oh wait, you got micro needling?” she asked the actor, adding, “I did that on my ass cheeks.”

When asked if she saw an improved, more youthful appearance, Ripa was nonchalant.

“I’m going to tell you something … just as old as before,” she deadpanned. “Desperate times call for desperate measures.”

The 55-year-old has spent the past few decades on television, so she has shared a fair amount of beauty moments in full public view.

This past spring, she reminisced over failed hairstyle eras, quipping, “[I regret] all of them.”

“Every single haircut,” she added. “All of my haircuts traumatized me.”

She also told a hilarious story about doing her makeup in the dark earlier this year.

Meanwhile, Ripa recently ruffled Howie Mandel’s feathers after telling him that he looked great for 70 years old.

“No, no. It’s like saying you’re smart for a stupid person,” he said about why he didn’t like the praise. “‘Oh, you seem smart, you seem smart,’ you see, no, I don’t look good.” He later apologized, calling it a misunderstanding.
