Kelsea Ballerini Shares Never-Before-Seen Photos as She Celebrates Two-Year Anniversary with Chase Stokes
It’s been two years since Kelsea Ballerini and Chase Stokes started dating, and they’re still going strong!
The country star, 31, and the Outer Banks actor, 32, celebrated their two-year anniversary on Jan. 7, and Ballerini took to Instagram with some never-before seen photos of the pair as well as a sweet note about their enduring romance.
“two years of catching each other in countless cities, perfecting a chimichurri steak, and creating a world that revolves around dogs,” wrote Ballerini. “love you so, teammate.”
The post features photos of the pair spending time together on the beach, at home, traveling and with their dogs, Dibs and Milo. She also shared a hilarious video of Stokes cleaning up dog poop while Dibs leaves another dropping behind him, leading the Netflix star to claim he’s in “purgatory.”
Stokes also shared his own celebratory post on Instagram, writing alongside a series of photos, “2 laps around the sun with you, i love you kb 🤍(especially when you laugh so hard you wheeze, and 8 am dance routines to your toothbrush).”
Referencing one of the images, Ballerini responded in the comments: “can we just open the forum to talk about you in a cowboy hat because 👩🍳😘 am i right?”
The pair first sparked dating rumors after they attended a Georgia vs. TCU game at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California on Jan. 9. Days later, Stokes soft-launched their relationship by posting a photo of them cuddled up at the football game in a carousel of photos captioned, “lil recap.”
In an October 2024 interview with PEOPLE, Ballerini revealed she and Stokes live together: “Oh, we’re unpacked, baby!”
The musician recently released her latest album, Patterns, in which she gets vulnerable about moving on following her divorce from ex-husband Morgan Evans and accepting love again with Stokes.

Ballerini also opened up to PEOPLE about the inspiration behind some of the album’s songs: “I think for me, going into this next chapter of my life — and you hear this on ‘First Rodeo’ — at first I kind of felt very timid and very like, ‘Oh God, am I damaged goods?’”
She continued, “And then with ‘Baggage,’ it’s kind of that juxtaposition of: what I am, who I am, and this is what I bring to the table, and I’m not going to apologize for the path that’s gotten me here. I’m proud of my journey and take it or leave it, but I hope that you’ll take it.”
