Kevin Federline is claiming that his and Britney Spears’ sons, Preston and Jayden, are distancing themselves from their mom again.

“[Britney] saw one of my sons one day this year, and he decided not to go back over there because of what he saw,” Federline, 47, said during a Thursday, October 23, appearance on Piers Morgan Uncensored. “The other one, Jayden, who’s my younger son, is 19 now. He’s been over there quite a few times over the past year, and he’s stopped seeing her in the last few months because of the situation.”

Federline continued, “And they’re terrified and they’re worried about their mom and they don’t know how to help because of what all of this has cost.”

When asked about what his sons saw, Federline shared that it was not his “story to tell.”

Kevin Federline revealed his sons Sean Preston and Jayden James have read some of his upcoming memoir, which includes explosive claims about his ex-wife and their mother, Britney Spears. “Pieces of it, but, I mean, they know all of this stuff, right?” Federline, 47, told Us Weekly during an exclusive interview on Wednesday, October 15. “That’s my sons’ story to tell if they decide to. I mean, the things that they’ve seen are shocking, right?” he claimed. “So shocking that one of my sons came to me and called me and was like, ‘I don’t know what to do. I’m afraid Mom is going to die.’”

Us Weekly has reached out to Spears for comment.

Federline released his memoir, You Thought You Knew, earlier this month. The book details Federline’s marriage to Spears, 43, and their divorce. (Spears and Federline were married from 2004 to 2007.)

Ahead of the release of You Thought You Knew, Spears released a statement slamming Federline and his book.

“With news from Kevin’s book breaking, once again he and others are profiting off her, and sadly it comes after child support has ended with Kevin,” Spears’ rep told Us at the time. “All she cares about are her kids, Sean Preston and Jayden James, and their well-being during this sensationalism. She detailed her journey in her memoir.”

Spears also took to social media to express her frustration with her ex-husband.

“The constant gaslighting from [my] ex-husband is extremely hurtful and exhausting. I have always pleaded and screamed to have a life with my boys,” the pop star wrote via X in October. “Relationships with teenage boys is complex. I have felt demoralized by this situation and have always asked and almost begged for them to be a part of my life.”

Kevin Federline heard alarm bells whenever he watched his ex-wife Britney Spears‘ concerning Instagram videos after the court-ordered termination of her 13-year conservatorship. “With her newfound freedom, I saw history repeating itself,” Federline, 47, says in a clip of the audiobook version of his upcoming memoir, You Thought You Knew, exclusively obtained by Us Weekly. “Her […]

Spears also addressed her relationship with her two sons. (The singer and her boys were estranged after her conservatorship was lifted. Preston and Jaymes did not attend her wedding to ex-husband Sam Asghari.)

“Sadly, they have always witnessed the lack of respect shown by [their] own father for me. They need to take responsibility for themselves,” Spears wrote. “With one son only seeing me for 45 min in the past 5 years and the other with only 4 visits in the past 5 years. I have pride too. From now on I will let them know when I am available.”

The Grammy winner continued, “Trust me, those white lies in that book, they are going straight to the bank and I am the only one who genuinely gets hurt here. I will always love them and if you really know me, you won’t pay attention to the tabloids of my mental health and drinking. I am actually a pretty intelligent woman who has been trying to live a sacred and private life the past 5 years. I speak on this because I have had enough and any real woman [would] do the same.”
